  3. Sir, thank you on behalf of the bereaved family and the brother we lost; thank you for re-posting this obituary.
Our conscience must be constantly awakened if we are to guarantee a sunrise future for the Malaysians of tomorrow.
For as long as our forefathers did everything possible to give us today an independent sovereign nation, we must do all it takes to return a battered nation back to its glory for King and rakyat.
And justice on earth for the sins against men and women - the citizens of Malaysia, is just as vital as justice in heaven.
Our soldier of democracy, our brother for a just cause, our fellow citizen and loyal subject of DYMM SPB YDP Agung - the late Baharrudin Ahmad must get justice.
Once again Sir, thank you for your efforts.

  10. ATTENTION: To those who wish to make DONATIONS.

It's BETTER to make DONATIONS to the poor, handicapped, orphanage homes, old folks how & so on rather than to the family of this dude who had just stupidly MAMPUS. After all, his death was caused by NOBODY but himself becos' this bloke should have stayed at home knowing very well he have a WEAK HEART & by attending an ILLEGAL GATHERING is all NOT worth it. Now, hope this would serve a GOOD lesson to all POTENTIAL STREET BARBARIANS in the future.

Betul-betul MALU BAPAK. Dah MATI pun nak minta sedekah????

  11. Uncle Zorro,

We are Malaysians of different colour and belief but in Bersih 2 it shows that we are ONE MALAYSIA.

Not the bogus one though which is full of sloganeering and spoken with a pack of lies.

Will do the needy today and thank you for being a part of NEW Malaysia with news for today's youth to take over tomorrow's rule.

  12. This is for a good cause indeed, I will give what I can. But make sure Zorro doesn't ask for a commission from the amount collected.

  18. Jerry Chin,

Ini bukan minta sedekah. The iniative comes from friends. It is a Malay custom and encouraged by Islam, to show that theya are not alone in their bereavement.

  20. Samsam:
Dear Zorro, the hellth minister Liau Dung Lie went to Tung Shin Hospital and held a press conference with the hospital board and declared that police did not
shoot water cannon and tear gas into the hospital compound. And the police went into the hospital to send the Bersih people for treatment and were not to arrest them, and the tear gas smoke in the compound could be due to the blowing wind! When questioned by one of the reporters who witnessed the hospital incident, he showed annoyance and said that since the hospital board chairman had collaborated with what he said, the reporter should not ask such question! For those who are not aware, Tung Shin Hospital and the affiliating Chinese Maternity Hospital were charitable organisation set up more a hundred years ago by the pioneer Chinese immigrants community. Till todate it still depends partially on public donations to help build more facilities to provide affordable and sometimes free medical treatments to the public of all races. It's run as a not-for-profit organisation to sustain its operation. The old chairman would likely to have to appease the hellth minister who has the power to flex his muscles on the hospital.

  21. My Dear Zorro,
A fitting tribute by my dear JDL, to a fallen brother as Baharuddin. My heartfelt sympathies to his family. The late Baharuddin did not possess titles nor was he interested in power but in every sense wanted to make a great Nation in the truths he stood for. No one knew his pains when the Nation was hurt time and again. He is one of the greatest to walk the Land called Malaysia. An ordinary simple man with the greatest of morals. He lit our hearts and gave us the meaning of the truth in the midst of adversities .
    God Bless his soul!
Thank you my dear Zorro for the source of strength you show and make others rise to meet it.
    You take care my friend!

  25. The University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) social anthropologist Professor Datuk Shamsul Amri Baharuddin that the Najib administration should discard its “Cold War” mindset and to modernize its concepts to address internal security and national issues. BN are still trapped in a “time warp” causing their total disconnect with ordinary Malaysians and the fact that they are living in 2011 in the era of social media and the Internet.

  26. “709” will go down in Malaysian history as the day of empowerment of the real 1Malaysia – where all races and religions came together to demand a “Clean Malaysia”, not just for clean elections but also in the political system and all aspects of national governance.

Let us all wear yellow on Saturdays to show our support for Bersih movement until the next election.
