“Firstly, we cannot equate what is happening in Egypt with Malaysia because things are very different in the two countries.” Najib Tun Razak
WHAT BOLLOCKS!
UNADULTERATED OFFAL!
WHAT DIFFERENCE?
SAME DIFFERENCE!
CORRUPTION IS CORRUPTION!
IN MALAYSIA OR MYANMAR!
SARAWAK OR SUDAN!
THE ONLY DIFFERECE IS:
The degree of corruption and the expediency of MACC, and the judiciary.
Najib and his boys need to contemplate hard on these quotes on this holy day!

The Whistler
+++++
IT WONT HAPPEN HERE.
NOT NOW
JUST MAYBE LATER.
Of course, lah! No two countries are the same.
ReplyDeleteEgypt is some 6,000 years old. They learn. This so-called Malaysia our country is only less than 60 years old. Well, before it was something else.
What is so damning clear and smacks you right in the face is that THIS MAN can stand up before us as the PRIME MINISTER!
In this frame of value system amongst the BN people they have become desensitized, numb to the revulson of stealing and corruption and any sense of shame. When Najib says this, MACC will follow and the Federal Secretary will follow and the CJ will follow.... etc, etc
Anyway, it might really be humbling to glean the sense of the importance in a just and free Malaysia to have any sense of justice and freedom that the Muslim Brotherhood [#] declares to be paramount before anything else in Egypt.
Makes honest sense, doesn't it? How can you even begin to learn of God when you're not free to do so??? Would that in any sense be just???
[#] Yusuf Al Qadarawi
One can be blinded by corruption so one cannot see the similarity.
ReplyDeleteCorruption is like sex, once you start your will never stop until your are impotent.
ReplyDeleteOf all the quotes, the one that "the end justifies the means" probably holds the key to fighting corruption in malaysia.
ReplyDeleteif all malaysians, especially the businessmen (more often than not Chinese ), did not pay bribes, there will be no corruption.
but we must make a living and if corruption is part of the costs of doing business, what can we do but follow.
the alternative is to go broke.
what do you suggest we do, zorro the wise one?
The only thing this racist UMNO Ketuanan govt is proud and excelled in, is mastering the fine art of corruption!...even our silent achiever neighbor is left far behind and have to concede, they will never come equal or better than our UMNO bastards in this field.
ReplyDeleteThe only legacy that people will talk about in the years to come are the legacies of ruins and debts this UMNO PM left behind after his years as Prime Minister.
anon 8:44AM,
ReplyDeleteGo for broke if you sincerely need to do good for the future of your children and your country. Otherwise it's same old same old. There's no middle path to heaven.
“... things are very different in the 2 countries bcos I have rosmah ... ” Ah Jib.
ReplyDeleteWTF!Badawi with a quote? He positively contributed to the corruption index going up,in keeping with the prick before him! So,what gives Najib?
ReplyDeleteStart a survey lah, what are the things we have in common with Egypt?
ReplyDelete1. Dictatorial regime
2. etc
Najib is right. Certainy there are differences between Eqypt and our beloved Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteIn Malaysia, the protestors will not last a day as the police/FRU/army are pro-BN and will douse you with water cannon and tear gas to disperse any gathering.
Also, you will be charged with ISA for detention without trial as the police is more powerful than the government (quote Che Det).
Understand or not, mr Zorro?
Petronas’s persistency in exploring for the precious commodity within Malaysia has struck gold with major oil and gas reserves discovered off the coast of Sarawak. Some 100 million barrels of oil and 2.8 trillion standard cubic feet (tscf) of natural gas were discovered from two exploration blocks there.
ReplyDeleteSo, do the people in Sarawak continue to let Taib and its BN cronies to plunder this wealth at the expense of the rakyat?
Think hard and use your vote to make that change!
NEM is simply an extension to NEP.
ReplyDeleteOld wine in new bottle, as Perkasa has been able to control Najib.
The “shift in emphasis” away from the New Economic Model’s (NEM) initial focus on productivity and meritocracy to Bumiputera interests will leave Malaysia’s foreign direct investments (FDI) trailing behind regional rivals.
The formation of the Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (Teraju) “diluted” the NEM and would send the wrong message to foreign investors who had been hopeful of reform.
Najib took one step forward and then 2 steps backward, the umno style.
Big oil find in Sarawak!
ReplyDeleteNajib and gang must be jumping with great joy by now.
White haired “rajah” will fight on to stay in power and other BN parties in Sarawak will try to outwit each other to grab bigger shares.
A find is deemed as no find to the nation and to its people for all monies are vastly distributed among cronies and building more white elephants on pretext as developement.
Fuel prices will continues on to soar quitely as our consumer’s prices are totally based according to middle east output even though it’s our very own oil.
People of sarawak must no longer live in “jungles” anymore as it’s their time to take control of their future.
Spread the message across and boot those “robbers” out in this coming election.
Sent the white haired “rajah” packing for good.
As for pakatan “famillies”, this is the right time to go for a “kill” for the powerful ” vampire” is in “hibernation”.
Bring more “stake” and “silver bullet” along and strike it hard into its “heart” once and with full force.
This is the perfect time to end its rule for our whole country’s future starts there.
CORRUPTION = RACISM......
ReplyDeleteWe can end both together... but we need to do it NOT on their Sham Democracy way or SHAM judiciary Way.
Each time the Leaders of UMNO-BN say something we must learn to not play in the SPIN FRAME they wants us to discuss. Stop the feedback and ATTACK....do some Tok Janggut and Mat Kilau on the EVIL infrastructure of POLICE, 3 Line, RELA, Judiciary, Sultan, Election Commission, MACC, Banks, Tenaga, Water, Talikom, ....etc.... Kacau and make it inconvenient until rakyat SEDAR...UMNO-BN is truly S H I T......ala sastarawan Negara Book!!
What bollocks, Zorro! You are asking those boys to learn rocket science. They can't read some of the words on these quotes, much less understand them. Go for something more easy ... like ... you tolong I, I tolong you!
ReplyDeleteCertainly there's a difference - Malaysia's 'moral guardian' rules "Valentines Day" is not for Muslim lovers, so let's make 14 Feb a day we show love for the oppressed Muslims of Malaysia!
ReplyDeleteThis BIG oil-find in Sarawak splashed across mainstream media, are we so naive as to believe it was only discovered yesterday? Sarawak election and GE-13 is around the corner, remember?!!
Difference I see:
ReplyDelete1. No Ketuanan Egptian.
2. No NEP
3. No Iguana Ali
4. Egypt has always been dictated by an Egyptian and nopt some senile Mamak Pratta masquerading as Malays.
5. Egyptians DID NOT blow up a Mongolian lass with C4
You reap what you sow sum up all things.Egypt regime end is NOT about corruption, but a demonstration by her citizens they will not tolerate the old leaders any more.
ReplyDeleteIf the good wind does not blow through in this conutry,it only means the people are still tolerent of stupid[some retarded]politicians thinking and deciding for them.
Like when our computer get problematic,it can be frustrating to continue,so it is wiser to reboot it and have the software reset. This what Egypt is screaming at us.It is useless going to poll if the system behind it is heavily manupilated. Are malaysians brave enough to peacefully gather and be seen by evil and good, not leaving out Tuhan, what is deep in their heart.A demand for justice and equality as promised in the constitution.
If the people think by sitting on their arm chair and let the ballot box decide, they have to be reminded Egypt have regularly held election. We must gather to have the EC replaced.Otherwise shut up and eat the shit.Malaysian certainly love shit, just that they complain about the stink that lingers[very much like eating durians]
Shenanigan Mahathir grand son of the untouchable pariah from Kerala started this rot to remain in office so to steal. This habit is now a culture of Umno especially those for have acquired the habit of stealing. But remember there is retribution just like Mubarak and also remember one cannot take the ill gotten gains with him when he leaves this world. Mubarak, Taib and shenanigan Mahathir just remember you all have one thing in common, you all are muslims. Now you now why you have laws to prevent muslims from leaving and also why so many millions and billions are not becoming muslims because of you.
ReplyDeleteIn our country, where power struggle is concerned, there is no such a thing as "wisdom of sensitivities". In the Tenang by-election, MCA chief Chua Soi Lek has asked "what's so great" about knowing Islamic values? His Umno masters dared not even censor him.
ReplyDeleteIn the same tone, others can say, "what's so great of knowing Christian values?"; "what's so great of knowing Hindu values?" and "what's so great of knowing Buddhist values?" Chua, why didn't you also say, "what's so great about sleeping with other women?'
Don't get near Egypt, for God's sake! Just think about it. That'll do.
ReplyDeleteThe mosquitoes there have parasites that can make you blind! ;-))
The hearts of non-Malays are ‘suci’ ( pure ). Although we do not pray five times daily like some UNMOB hypocrites ( even their leader wants to soak his keris in Chinese blood! ) we SINCERELY believe that the needy, irrespective of their race or religion, should be given assistance. But what we strongly oppose is that the super rich hypocrites in UNMOB are helping themselves to the national wealth instead of helping the poor. So now we see a big nunber of BACKWARD Malays who have been fooled for the past five decades and made used of by minority UNMOB Malays to ADVANCE themselves.
ReplyDeleteA hard rain is falling down across the Arab world following dramatic events in Tunisia and Egypt. A tsunami of change is sweeping across the region. It doesn't look like the whole situation is abating. A perfect storm is in the making.
ReplyDeleteLibya and Bahrain have become very explosive with many deaths among the protestors in recent days. These are unsavoury actions taken by the autocratic rulers in both countries. For the first time, Gaddafi is no longer the demigod of Libyans. Bahrain is feeling the real heat. There are also reports of people shot dead in Algeria, Yemen and Iran.
There are also rumblings in Syria, Jordan, Morocco and in Iraq, it will be no surprise if the Kurds start to have their 'march to freedom'.
If you do watch those videos coming out from those troubled nations, there are clips of "crush bodies and blood on the streets". Sounds familiar, no doubt.
In Malaysia, the authorities in power are still living in their fantasy of using every excuse to demonise and run down those from the PR camp like over this silly anti-Valentine's Day 'pogrom.' And using their Umno goons and other dimwit lackeys to do the dirty job for them.
People will watch and see the day when most of the Arab states are free from dictatorship and tyranny. From the ashes of this bloody awakening, the reasons the Arab people are revolting do not , at this time, indicate any issues that are related to Islamisation.
The people, Muslims, Christians and other faiths, are simply fed up with autocratic rule, which is something that is also quite common in this part of the world. They want their freedom, they want to have a say, they want jobs and a decent life for their families. They want to see a future that is devoid of manufactured hate and abuses.
They don't need religious bigots to run their lives, they are true Muslims and don't practise false beliefs. They don't need false prophets and incorrigible racists to tell them what to do.
It's not over yet, the whole dramatic event may suggest a "New Arab Order" in the making. When the dust has settled down in the days or months to come, one need not be surprise to see most of these uprisings could transform the national makeup of these nations into replicas of Turkey if this not stretching it too far.
The US and the European Union will be please when they realise that the idea of the "Islamic bogeyman" was just a figment of their imagination. It could all turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
When it's all over and done, by then the only states left with strongmen, tyrants, pocket dictators, spurious democratic governments are those that can be found in North Korea, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, Belarus, Turkmenistan and a few other places.
