RAPE IN SARAWAK.

The RAPE OF EUROPA revisited in

SARAWAK.

CLICK ON IMAGE IF YOU ARE A CONNOISSEUR OF ART

Painted in 1559 – 1562 by Italian,Titian (Tiziano Vecellio) for Phillip II, King of Spain, this grand painting portrays the abduction of Europa by a determined Jupiter, disguised as a bull. Europa is a reclining nude both submissive and resistant, appearing both abandoned with desire and frightened, beneath a calm blue sky with threatening storms. The putti, or Cupids, in the sky and atop the dolphin are mesmerized watching the tension between the lovers, while the nymphs, vague on the distant shore, watch and wave helplessly. Both her generous, billowing flesh and Jupiter's tail seem to quiver with excitement at the pending sexual act.

I leave it to readers to draw the valid parallels.

  1. The TIME and OPPORTUNITY for all Sarawakians are now! To save Sarawak and ensure a bright and prosperous future for our children and grandchildren, Sarawakians of many origins must be united in purpose and intend to defeat Taib and UMNO led BN in the coming state election and GE13 soon.

I wonder how such a posting can ignite the Dayaks and the Ibans to do the right thing.

  4. While Taib celebrates his lavish wedding of the year, 85% of the 6000 rumah pajangs and villages in the rural Sarawak do not have proper light etc. and the price of basic necessities like kerosene have shot up increasing the people’s woes.

  6. Barisan Nasional has deteriorated because of too much corruption and cronyism, as such, it was in the best interest of all Malaysians to have an alternative voice that can provide an alternative government.

  7. Taib’s tycoon sister, Raziah Mahmud, has once again been seizing land from Sarawak’s people.

Raziah’s attempts to conceal her involvement in plans to replace Reserved Forest Lands at Ensengei with yet another vast oil palm plantation have exposed a far wider scandal. She and Taib have extracted around a hundred thousand of hectares of state land – an area amounting to roughly half the size of Brunei - over the past decade alone!

  8. Urban landowners would receive the minimum land compensation when Taib’s sister Raziah decided to rob their lands for “public developments” while the illiterate Dayak and Malay landowners living in the remote interior would have their land stolen under their noses without compensation.

The question is not about compensation made by the state government on her behalf. For what she had committed was what his brother the thief minister would have done but through her as proxy. In other words, Taib is robbing us and stealing our lands by using proxies.

State government money belong to the rakyat and tax payers but when Taib and his family robbed us they used the rakyat’s money to compensate us if they had no choice but to pay.

While the thief ministers of UMNO controlled BN state have been robbing the people in their respective states, the Predator Minister who is the head of the country is scooping the country’s wealth at his whim and fancy as president of UMNO and head of BN.

We can choose to be stupid by mindlessly voting these bandits and thieves and be cursed by our children and grand children for being the STUPID generation.

Enough is Enough. UMNO controlled BN and their thieves must be annihilated and be brought to stand trails for stealing from us and sabotaging our economy and nation.

  9. Taib Mahmud can’t possibly believe in Prime minister Najib Abdul Razak’s 1Malaysia. If he did, he would have chosen a Malaysian bride, better still a Sarawakian. Instead, he married a Syrian woman. Love is of course more important than racial origins.

  10. If Wendi can do it with Rupert, so can the newly minted Puan Sri!

I will also BET my bottom dollar & my graveyard/burial money that:

Mdm New Puan Sri will have absolutely ZERO problems getting instant Citizenship; or at worst instant PR...a feat mere mortals can wait a lifetime for & even die stateless as a result.

Yes. She is wearing rocks & living in luxury & probably bathing in asses milk (sic) but she deserves every rock & dime she gets. SHE EARNED IT.

After all she's got to be intimate with a man older (& smaller) than her father..just hope those little blue pills do the job they're supposed to do.

  11. This Taib Mahmud regime has been around for 27 years–in fact longer than the premiership of Mahazalim–and the good people of Sarawak have allowed it to continue until recently. The re-emergence of Dayak nationalism and the struggle to protect native rights which had remained dormant for far too long (50 years after the formation of Malaysia) will mark the end of this despicable and corrupt regime.

Our leaders in Kuala Lumpur should take full responsibility for allowing Taib Mahmud to rule unchecked, enabling him to sit on the political throne and act with impunity. Is a question of birds of the same feather sticking together or have they all been bought by Taib? Badawi, what have you been doing over the last five years– and Mahazalim too. There must be a peoples’ commission to bring abusers of power to account for their wealth and betrayal of public trust.T heir ill gotten gains must be returned to the national treasury and they should be put behind bars together with hardcore criminals.

I wonder how, for example, the state investment arm can be repackaged as a family business when in the first place Taib Mahmud as a politician entrusted by the people of Sarawak to administer the state should not be in business. This sick man is a symbol of arrogance of power and mother of all corruption in Malaysia. How can a chief minister use a royal coloured Rolls Royce as his official car when the standard vehicle is Proton Perdana? This is blatant display of his ill gotten wealth and unchecked power. I also wonder what the Anti-Corruption Agency which reports to the Prime Minister is doing? Maybe it is too busy trying to catch petty thieves, preying on opposition politicians and fixing civil servants.

  12. No one in Sarawak should be poor these days, because they are fortunate to be part of a small population living in a country rich in resources. Yet under BN they have come to accept poverty as their lot and to even be grateful to Taib when he comes by at elections and throws them a little rice or promises them a road they will never get. Clever Taib. Sarawakians allow themselves to be the poorest people in Malaysia, even though they have the richest state and all because they vote for him!

    "Keluarga saya didahulukan,
    Rakyat Sarawak diabaikan".

South Sudan issues have similarities with Sabah and Sarawak issues. Since 1947 S. Sudan was/is dominated by North Sudan which acted very much like a colonial master and developed the north with S. Sudan oil resources while the south mired in poverty.

Sabah and Sarawak’s rich oil resources and revenue have been stolen by the Malayan colonialist for 48 years. In that time Billions of dollars worth of this revenue have been used to develop Malaya it is today while Sabah ad Sarawak have become 2 of the poorest states of the “federation”.

Logically if this wealth had been used for their benefit both colonies would have developed into modern states with a high the standard of living long ago.

It is not wonder that the Sabahans and Sarawakians have increasingly questioned this colonial relationship and raised issues of gaining their independence.

The movement for Sabah and Sarawak independence is once again reviving and moving forward for independence day.
