STAND UP LAH, TO BE COUNTED!

"Whether the commission is independent or not, it is often influenced by perceptions. At the end of the day, we still have to answer to our conscience as to whether or not we have done a good job,” Tan Sri Robert Phang, one of 42 MACC Advisory Board member, told the Sun on 24 September 2009.

On Monday 29 Nov 2010, Tan Sri Robert Phang followed his conscience and asked the Attorney General to come clean on all the allegations against him.

Below are the 41 titled members appointed into some 5 Panels.

Can you imagine what can happen if collectively they get the MACC to net the AG and the other big fishes to shore?

Will we consider this as hot air coming from the former CJ, now Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad, Chairman of MACC Advisory Board:

On the 16th May 2010, the Chairman of the MACC Advisory Board, Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad had advertisments in most newspapers potraying that the MACC will take action on all reports made to them. The advertisement read :-

" No One Is Exempted, No One Is Special"

"To citizens of Malaysia, regardless of leaders or followers, the government or oppostion, politicians or their followers, officers or businessmen, writers or readers. I urge you, if we are sincere in fighting corruption ; the first step is to hinder ourselves from corrupt acts. It is simple. STOP GIVING AND STOP ACCEPTING. No one is excepted and no one is special. As long as there are people who believe that they can be exempted, then we will never win in the fight against corruption."

"Remember ! No Givers, No Receivers."

AHCHEWWWWW….excuse me….I am allergic to Bull Shit!....ACHEWWWWWWWWWWWWW, ACHEWWWWWWWW.

Many of them including the gatekeeper & what not are corrupted to the core. It has always been a conspiracy to rob naive & unsuspecting Malaysians.

Now that you, some & I know, can we do more than just reporting on this disease ?

Action sir we need, not talk

  8. Really?
    No one is exempted?
So why does Khir Toyo continue to get off scot-free?
    And what about Taib?
MACC is nothing, only good to do BN's bidding.
To start fighting corruption, BN must be taken out of the government!
Then when PR is in power, we have BN as our watchdogs!

  9. If those people in the panel have any OUNCE of pride and dignity....they should all Resign Enblock as Rakyat have LOST confidence with MACC like the POLICE and the COURTS...

But I am sure they are also paid a few $$$$ to be on the Panel. All waiting for their Maker to call them home. What use MACC?? When Broad Daylight Corruption in UMNO-BN is in NFA Folder and deleted forever. They too are on the instruction to burn all if UMNO-BN losses the Next GE.....so Looking for Mr. WIKI LEAKS inside MACC, time to download to Drive and pass to me......if you want a better Malaysia. Go check how many Chinese/Indian Works there at MACC HQ......Its up to you righteous Malays to do a Wiki Leaks like Mr Asange on USA and the world.

  11. From my limited knowledge, some names of the lists, at first glance, seems to be people of honour and integrity. Can the following people stand up and be counted, there are many people who hold you in high esteem (including your family and loved ones), do not disappointed them and most of all, do not betray your own conscience.

    1. Tun Abdul Hamid
    2. Tan Sri Ramon Navaratnam
    3. Dr. Tan Seng Giaw
    4. Dato Cecil Abraham

I am sure there are many more to add to the above list. Please stand up and be counted!!! The people of Malaysia will salute you.

  12. 'Too many cooks, spoiled the soup.'
You can get answers from the streets, to questions like, 'Mahu saman ke, mahu 'selesai'(to settle)?
    'Sandiwara'
Did they propose that all windows in MACC buildings must have metal grilles installed?
Several of the names I have read of and on in the news,I would consider them as very concerned personnel. However most of them , hmm, 'seat warmers lah!'

  13. Do we really need this so called "Advisory Board"? I thought MACC is well trained to work independently! If this so called advisory board is BN appointed... we know the result. Better if we have a "Watch dog Panel" appointed by the Pulic to watch over MACC.

  14. Uncle Zorro,

Unfortunately the rest of the 41 members of the so-called MACC advisory panel have got no balls (and that includes the female members too). Sad to say, nothing will come out from Robert Phang's call to the AG for transparency. I can imagine the AG laughing his head off at Robert Phang and giving him the middle finger because the AG thinks he is above the law. In the worst scenario, the AG can claim he has selective amnesia or someone else was masquerading as him performing the haj.

All in all, it is a no case for the AG. I would like to see what further action Robert Phang will take besides having another press conference and talking to the wind.

  15. Fight corruption by singing jingles on TV.

    That's what they can do?

    I rest my case.
