In my Saturday post ARE ALL THE PKR BIG GUNS IN AZMIN'S POUCH?, I wrote:
If it is true that the veteran start-up PKR team is in cahoots with Azmin and thus in his pouch, Zaid should call it a day in this campaign, give the dirty crown to Azmin who wants it so badly for reasons known only to himself, and come lead the Malaysian chapter of the CIVIL LIBERTIES initiative.
SYABAS, Sir.....let's march on as there is still a lot of work ahead. Let's hustle! Regroup, rethink.
WHAT OTHERS SAID:
+++++
Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, how now? Dang give Azmin the paper crown lah!
Zaid should join DAP.
ReplyDeleteThen Zorro can stop being a PKR newsletter.
Hi all,
ReplyDeleteI am so happy I got my work permit and will be relocating to Sydney, Australia by end December 2010.
It was a relief to see my work permit finally come through. There is no hope in Malaysia anymore. After a few years, I should get my PR and will then surrender my Malaysian citizenship. Though I will still have some family in Malaysia, the country will be a mere tourist spot for me in a few years. With the exchange rate, it will be a good place to spend my holidays here in Malaysia.
I have given up hope in this country. Before EPF goes busts I am gonna to close my account and take my money out in a few years or so.
Australia offers so much more in terms of quality of life, freedom, security, education for the kids etc etc.
When they build that 100 storey mega tower, my kids wont be paying for it for generations to come.
Bye Malaysia!
Anon1001am....SHOULD? You don't even know the man. Anyway I will be thinking of you all day…..I am heading for the zoo to get material for my newsletter.
ReplyDeleteAnon1001am....SHOULD? You don't even know the man. Anyway I will be thinking of you all day…..I am heading for the zoo to get material for my newsletter.
ReplyDeleteSenor,
ReplyDeleteZaid quitting the contest at this hour reflects badly on his principle. Do you think that he would do the same if he is leading right now? We all knew the answer. So, your SYABAS to him reflects badly on you too.
The best that could happen for the Rakyat, the worst for PKR and UMNO.
ReplyDeleteNow it is just to concentrate on real issues understood by the people and champion them.
The 'new' and educated generation will understand, the old and 'lost' will not be relevant in some years to come anyway.
By GE 14, the present PKR will be gone after a total disaster in GE13!
Anon1053am...you mean Zaid should remain when there is sufficient proof of how dirty this election process is....you stupid or what? I will think of you too when I am at our zoo.
ReplyDeleteDato, way to go. Its no point being in the party when you see things are done in bad faith and active back stabbing among members.
ReplyDeleteAs for Azmin, we at Ulu Klang are watching as he is just busy with his party politics and not much to the ground.
Wonder being a MP, he will be able settle the UKRC land issue before the next GE.
We are watching.
This is one mail i recieved:-
ReplyDeleteJohari Ghani, head of Titiwangsa UMNO said "we don't need Chinese and Indian to win the election."
And to all the Chinese and Indian who are not needed, please do not let this type of racist bastard get
off freely from labeling us as unimportant and not needed.
He is the Managing Director of C.I Holdings Bhd (Pemanis) who distribute drinks like
Pepsi,
Twister,
Revive,
Kickapoo,
Chill,
7-up and boss coffee among others.
Lets boycott these products. Let’s show him that we CHINESE AND INDIAN are very important and
much needed here in Malaysia, our Malaysia.
Watch this arsehole shoots his shit:-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMND_59OkKU
When we depend on other peoples buses,we have no control over our destination. For that we the third force must have our own bus.If a bus is not available,we will come in cars, bycycle and on foot[contesting as independents]
ReplyDeleteJoining gap or pas is going to be a repeat of vet greater sorrow.
Uncle Bernard,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the man listened. Am sure the nation is grateful to you and many others for helping him make this decision. Malaysia needs men with dignity and honour around. God bless.
If Zaid think of forming a new party-the 3rd force- fine & good. The more the merrier and UMNO will laugh till they drop dead!!!
ReplyDeleteMy only hope Zaid will rejoin UMNO!!
ReplyDeleteAnon125pm....where did you get the idea that the third force is a political party? It is not and will not be. Anyway UMNO is already in its death throes without laughing...the two by election win is like the bright white flash that the dying experience before they expire.
ReplyDeleteZaid should join PAS and take over its leadership. There is no hope in PKR anymore. The brader has no more use for him. The brader demolished his chances in UMNO by promising a better future at PKR and now after using him to the maximum, it is fuck off time.
ReplyDeleteAny body who messes with the brader's lover boys will pay the price.
You may be next Mr. Zorro, for saying bad things about PKR.
Hahahhaha!!! brother, now I am laughing. Chicken out ma... the truth is that he is not a politician. In UMNO it was a gift for him and that is not going to be unless you can take the mid way rather than your way all the time. That is politics or else stick to Micheavelian politics killed or be killed!
ReplyDeleteSo good luck and tell Zaid the safest bet for people like him is UMNO or else keep away and enjoy your life!!!
Pundek Kena Rogol, can I employ you be guard my ass. This will entail your positioning yourself back to back to me at all times whenever you so cleverly predict an attack on me. I can't promise to pay you much but if you are a kaki botol I can pay you in kind. OK macha?
ReplyDeleteOK brother! regroup all the idiots and continue to be an idiot.
ReplyDeleteOnce an idiot forever will be an idiot.
For the PKR members, remember this! "never argue with an idiot as you will never win" But if you insist pay them in kind only if you are kaki botol.
Pepsi, Twister, Revive, Kickapoo, Chill, 7-up and boss coffee are all junk food and unhealthy drinks. Please do not take it if you treasure your health. KFC & McDonald's are also bad food, and owned by bad people. Good reasons to boycott.
ReplyDeleteMaybe his vision is beyond 2020,that PKR find hard to adjust.Yet PKR is his best choice, stay cool and see what happen next.
ReplyDeleteI doubt PAS will accept Zaid after the hudud issue. His best option is to stay low, work within the PR,ensure PR is registered and by chance be a candidate for PRU 13 either in Kelana Jaya or Hulu Selangor.
Aku suka artikal kau. Tiada tuduh menuduh. Tiada menunding jari. Semuanya untuk muhasabah diri. Sangat terpuji.
ReplyDeleteTapi itu lah PAS. Sentiasa bermuhasabah. Elok dinasihatkan sikit rakan kau dalam PKR. Segala yang buruk berlaku dalam parti, semua salah UMNO/BN.
Kalau kalah PRK, semua salah SPR. Tidak pernah salah sendiri. Kalau kalah SPR jahat, kalau menang SPR buat kerja. Apa cerita?
Sila nasihat rakan kongsi anda. PKR dan makin jau sesat. Jangan sampai PAS pon sesat.
What the heck is happening in PKR lately? I believe that the party is falling apart.
ReplyDeleteThey are not in power yet, but the infighting and scheming for ranks in the party really reflects badly on the party’s leadership.
Way to go PKR!
p/s What say you about selling the ‘kertas undi’? I heard they got prove regarding that.
Play the game according to the ‘rules’ or else quit the game thats what RPK said. Zaid can join RPK & Harris gang or join the katak consensus group of MPs in Parliament.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem is brader RPK is oversea, brader Harris in Malaysia,
Hindraf is around with Parti Cinta Malaysia...probably Zaid may consider joining them or the brader Zaharin/Zulkifli Noordin team.
Which ever way you can but loose!!!
Satu lagi option masuk GERAKAN and overthrow Dr.Koh Buah Sukun!!!
ReplyDeleteNow this episode has over, PKR can fully concentrate on winning the heart and mind of the rakyat. This zaid thing is so much of distraction la.
ReplyDeleteZaid ia a true man of principle. Well done, sir!
Hahaha spells the death of PKR.
ReplyDeleteAnrwar, Zaid, et al will soon become history.
Hidup Najib. Hidup BN
Anon10:17am...welcome! You are doing the right thing by your kids. I migrated to Sydney 30 years ago and took up Aussie citizenship 25 years ago. Mighty proud of it and extremely happy to be living in the best country in the world! My only son was born here, graduated from Sydney University and now a productive and useful member of the country we called home. Over here you will find that the laws of the country applies equally to everyone irrespective of their race, religion and gender. The judiciary protects and upholds the rights of every citizen unequivocally and justly. The Police force carries out their duties fairly and professionally. Over here we practise true democracy. The good things are just too numerous to list here but I am sure you will love living here!
ReplyDeletePKR is nothing but Parti KATAK Rakyat
ReplyDeleteZaid and Azmin are like the pot and kettle. Zaid lost his credibility the moment he U-turn and said he will contest for the post. If he has stayed out like he first promised, he would have had many people's respect. Now he is not much more than a politician in UMNO's mould, just like Azmin.
ReplyDeleteLike one poster said, would Zaid have withdraw if he is leading ... even if the process is as dirty as it is now?
Mustaffa Kamil Ayub should also quite the DP race and let this pretty-boy have the toilet roll as crown since he's so overly ambitious and hard-up!
ReplyDeleteEven if he takes over the pkr presidency, big deal, so what?
And incase he has thoughts of taking the premiership when PR takes Putra Jaya? LOL!!!! ..this pretty-boy bloody well realise he needs to get in the long queue behind politicians like Khalid Samad, Husam Musa, Dr Dzulkifli Ahmad, Nizar Jamaluddin and Tunku Aziz, to name a few.
.
ReplyDeleteDoesnt ZI reminds people of the big mouth - nazri Aziz who has been recently speaking what people want to hear. So surprising that people have been buying into zi's talks so much so that he doesnt even have to show for it if indeed he was capable leader.
if zaid was concerned for the party he would have thought of ways and means to convince and compromise within to have his so called enlightened platform, disbursed for implementation alias non of that happening.
he was all talk as clear as crystal but nothing to show- NO BACK BONE so to speak.
POLITICAL PARTY IS NO CORPORATION.
.
Zaid who ? He never was anybody but hyperbole. He is better off in Island Discarded

Dear uncle zorro,
ReplyDeletei have commented on one of your earlier posting regarding Datuk Zaid Ibrahim. My comments were 'limited' leading to your urging me to tell more... remember?
Today i read that Datuk Zaid in his press conference said "“I would like to say, if PKR wants to move, Anwar and Azmin must go... because they are the source of the problem.
i'm not a bit surprised by this. There are many things that you and some bloggers aren't aware of datuk Zaid.
Only time will tell. The truth is beginning to unravel slowly. i hope that when the whole episode has exploded and the dust settled, you could continue with your good work albeit 'distractions' and 'influence'
to know the truth....just follow the money trail.
observer
p.s. don't be disheartened by these 'minor' hiccups.
Dear Uncle,
ReplyDeleteI hope that you are not unwitingly working as a fifth column agent.
Remember the Bru? PR especially PKR doesn't need this kind of problems at this critical moment in time.
Can't you smell what the Rock is cooking? GE13 is just around the corner.
I have the utmost respect for you but now is not the time to commit en masse seppuku.

PakSonDol
PakSonDol, have no fear. My focus is still on Pakatan making it to Putrajaya. But in our march there, some may get out of line and we need to bark at these...no seppuku..more a kick in the butt without fear or favor.Keep faith with me and if I deserve a kick in the ass, do deliver with good intentions. Cheers comrade.
ReplyDeleteDear Uncle,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your focus on the real goals are not distracted. Personally, am quite fed up with the shenanigans.
Whilst keeping focus, we must not lose track of the bigger picture. So what's the big picture with the ongoing PKR elections? Less than 5% are voting! The overwhelming majority do no give two hoots who become what in PKR.
Otto Von Bismarck - “Politics is the art of the possible, the attainable - the art of the next best”
So what if Azmin becomes the deputy president? He may be the enfant terrible but he's OUR enfant terrible. We can criticise him, malign and even slander him sans the fear of ever checking into Hotel California, Kemunting. We have bled with him and I hope when push comes to shove, when cornered, he will be there to bleed for us. When given authority, he will serve the Rakyat well. We and especially YOU will continue to be the people's conscience, without fear or favour.
Lest we forget, he's our comrade too. Kick him up the arse, bash him on the head whenever he's out of line but never burn bridges. We cannot get anywhere by burning bridges. This shouldn't be our Politics. Energy is better spent at having lines of communication open to him. It will definitely be much easier for us to discipline, coerce, cajole Azmin than say, Zahid Hamidi. I would rather have Tian Chua as the Deputy President but that is just my own preference. I am not going to lose sleep even if he is not elected V-P. Isn't it obvious that most of the trouble in PKR are caused by ex-UMNO but this is Realpolitik (and they have their supporters). Who is more palatable to the majority of voters that we wish to court (forget the converted), Azmin or Zaid? In order to win support in the next G-E, we need to get votes from people who have been voting BN especially UMNO. Both were UMNO men but who is the more acceptable to the kampung folks, the classic UMNO voters?

This is what UMNO is doing, subtly reaching out to "wavering" PR supporters, not to mention the Malaysian middle ground. A fine example is Sakmongkol (the only other blog that I read every day). A good man but an adversary nevertheless. Astute, convincing, pleasing and moderate, all this whilst keeping the very devils as bedfellows.
ReplyDeleteThey are not just stopping at that. We are facing and entrenched foe with vast resources and experience. Did you know that in order to diminish the communist threat in Britain, the MI5 "controlled" the communist party? Infarct some say it was started by the MI5. We must not fall into this trap. We cannot be strong if we are fractured and currently there is too much infighting.
As it is, Azmin is better suited as the second in command. We need an organiser to prepare for the looming battle. Even if Anwar is incarcerated, do you really believe PAS and DAP will accept either Azmin or Zaid as the PR Supremo?
For now, we need Anwar to keep PR together. Friends and foe alike sit up when he speaks. Although he is not perfect, he's earned his place. Zaid cannot even win in Hulu Selangor so how does he expect to carry the whole party? Zaid is a man full of ideas and it's incongruous that he wants to be the Second in Command. Next PKR election (after 13GE), prove his salt and go for the president's seat and we'll see how the PKR masses react.
Since we are talking about reforming the reformers. Why not do away with UMNO culture, do away with the Deputy President post. Just have 5 V-Presidents who collectively should be more powerful than the President and Ketua Umum. PKR politics should be inclusive not exclusive.
We (read : you guys) need to concentrate our efforts on the rakyat, turning over people like sakmongkol or the very least help (if not engineer) infighting between the moderates and the extremists in BN. Not, making fools out of ourselves.
By the way, Zaid is out of line for calling on Anwar and Azmin to leave the party. That is too childish and smack of self aggrandisement a la the ex Perlis Mufti. PKR is not just about Zaid. so I expect a word or two from you. No need to kick anything, a tap on the hand will suffice.

First Anwar must seriously focus on major PKR clean-up and keeping the party together before he even think of keeping Pakatan Rakyat together. How can he when he's so distant from pkr party grassroots, not even aware of party election irregularities and abuses, or is he deliberately in denial?
ReplyDeleteNo one says PKR is just about Zaid but is it all about Anwar Sdn Berhad?
