I root for the 'Datuk' or 'Tan Sri' who puportedly want to donate his RM1.01 million to the Johore Royalty during the Hari Raya festive season. It may not be a big sum by MAS or PKFZ standards, but the benchmark of the Malaysian mindset is boggling. Coming from someone of his stature, this incident opens up a canworm how Malaysians expect to get things done with just $$$, and plenty of $$$. Must be a legacy the rich and famous inherit from the Tun during his premiership days and/or following the footsteps of UMNO. Welcome to Malaysia. This is one country where big $$$ is deemed to get you somewhere, either to the top or somewhere preferably in Kamunting. malsia1206
PKR needs to bring in new blood into the party to avoid stagnancy of dull politics with no vision for the future...with little difference from those corrupted parties ruling the land. PKR/PR for once, since Merdeka, has truly a good opportunity to march into Putrajaya, so let us hope they will not screw it up!...putting self before the rakyat's dream.
It's high high time PR parties get real and drop blind loyalty for rewards to posts just like practised in BN.GET THE GUY WHO CAN GET THE JOB DONE and who can add value to your image.
Hahaha Uncle, Uncle. You are always betting on the wrong horse. I also heard Zaid's horses always lose. Better start teaching tuition. More lucrative business than blogging.
We must send a strong message to the PKR leaders such as Tian Chua that we DO NOT trust Azmin and we want Zaid voted in. This is non-negotiable if they know what is good for them come GE13.
I strongly believe Zaid is a much better man in the contest for the number 2 post. His vast experience in the legal field will help the party through all the legal tangles set up by UMNO.
Brother, it doesn't matter really! whoever win but the bigger picture is to capture PUTRA JAYA. SO let the democratic process alive, roots for whoever you want and the people must be the winner.
Why support Zaid for number two? Is he not qualified to be number ONE?
Let us forget all the BS about having to kowtow to the Anwar family tree.
The best qualified & "clean" & without baggage candidate for PKR President is Zaid.
And Khalid as administrative number two.
Anyway, why can't a non-Muslim be number two? Where are all those non-Muslims in PKR. Tidor atau durian-polishing only? You cannot be in politics without ambition, bah!
PKR is Anwar's family and cronies party. After all these years you think Anwar will hand over his party to outsiders ??
It is probably better for Zaid to form a new party - A PKR splinter and leave PKR to Anwar's wife, daughter, boyfriends, uncles, aunties, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and cute & handsome buddies.
Zaid Ibrahim resigned as a senior minister on principal ground to protest the abuse of human rights. This is the trait of a person with the highest honor , integrity and righteousness. It will be a blessing for Malaysia if this man becomes one of the top leaders in this country.
i root for Zaid but what about Chua Jui Ming? If it is going to be a new dawn I would like to see PKR embracing the 1 Malaysia concept and have more interracial leadership unlike DAP or PAS.
Doesn't matter whether it's Zaid or Azmin. PKR has to exorcise the UMNO ghost and GROW UP! If their members are hell bent on going the UMNO elections way, they will be punished by voters!!!
Pakatan Rakyat needs every good man it can find. There's plenty of room for the talents and experience of both Azmin Ali and Zaid Ibrahim to be harnessed in service of the nation. My personal feeling is that Zaid's personality and intellectual stature makes him a more suitable party frontman than Azmin. However, Azmin's loyalty to Anwar and to PKR deserves to be acknowledged and it would be a shame to see him embittered by an internal struggle for power. Whoever gets to lead PKR in the event of Anwar's incarceration (let's pray that Najib will come to his senses and let the sodomy case die a natural death), it must be someone with broad appeal and who is truly committed to freedom, justice and truth - not just personal power!
Tan Sri Musa Hassan has made an allegation before leaving the office that there is a third party interference in police work.
Why didn't he mention it during his term of office as the IGP over the past four years? In addition, Musa also admitted that there are different factions in the police force and he has actually eliminated many of them.
Since the problems have existed for a long time, and an external force has prevented him from reforming the police, causing him to implemented only 48% of his five-year restructuring plan, as the head of a professional disciplinary force, Musa should report to the higher level once he found out the problems. It is because of the lack of a channel, or poor communication?
I too have my hope is Zaid

ReplyDeleteCould there be umno moles within pkr?

ReplyDeleteZAID has proven that he is Man of Principle and he will be a Great Stateman.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand Azmin must be praise and appreciated for his undivided Loyalty to Anwar.
But the choice should be ....ZAID
