NOW LETS THANK THE ALMIGHTY!

I put this up on 1 June 2010 when news broke that Malaysians were amongst those on Mavi Marmara. I also said that if they are home safely our vigil tonight at MBPJ will be a thanksgiving vigil. THEY ARE HOME SAFELY because of your prayers.

Lifeline for Gaza chief, Noorazman said, as reported in the media:

"On behalf of the members, I wish to thank the government, Wisma Putra, Malaysian Embassy in Jordan for making it possible. But truly we are not the heroes, the real heroes are those who prayed for our release."

So those who can make it tonight at 8pm, join us at MBPJ porch. It is not the numbers who turn out. What counts is that we give thanks that our Malaysians are safely back with us.

  3. Personally speaking I am for Israel! Why? Because the God of Israel has already laid down a promise for them.
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.!
On top of that why should I or rather all decent Malaysia support the Hamas regime directly or indirectly which is currently in control. Do the Malaysians know that it is terrorist organization?
Check it out from the son of this hostile group leader! His name is Mosab Hassan Yousef, author of the Son of Hamas!
Malaysian should concentrate on their own front yard before involving in somebody back yard
    In parting:
    God Bless Najib!
    God Bless 1Malaysia!
    God Bless APCO!
    God Bless 1 Israel!

  4. Israeli will be condemned by God again for inflicting a holocaust towards the Palestinian. Those who believe that Hamas is a terrorist group is living in a cocoon himself. They are just freedom fighters demonized by the Western media.

  6. As far as I am concerned the terror sympathizers can remain there forever.
If someone sets up a fund to send Hairy Jamban-Load-In with his UMNO Youth (and their like-minded) to go there & fight Israelis, I will contribute.

Curiously, the IDF does not mention Paul Larudee, a top ISM operative who was expelled from Israel in 2006 and who was supposed to have been on the ships.

June 01, 2010 — UK news report is later edited to remove on-air claims by the program that Turkey was preparing to send a military vessel to accompany the Aid ship Rachel Corrie to Gaza. The News program corrected itself after the Turkish foreign minister confirmed that no such military vessel had been considered for dispatch.

חנין זועבי Hanin Zoabi suggests that there was no resistance involving bars or batons when it is clear from the video evidence that they were in use. She supported the Turkish activists who fought against Israeli soldiers

  10. Don't we have enough of our own suffering poor people at home whom nobody cares, not the Pakatan people or the BN people?
So why stick our nose into Middle East politics when we can't even solve the problem of poverty and suffering among the poor Malaysians?
    Charity begins at home.
Israel has never attack or killed a single Malaysian so far. Why this paranoid hatred of Israel? What has Israel done to us in Malaysia?
The Jews and Israel have been suffering for decades, they were treated like pariahs for decades and now they have their own homeland called Israel and they will die defending it.
Malaysia and Malaysians should learn to clean up their own backyard first before trying to clean up other people's backyard. We have a messy backyard and a lot of suffering among our own poor people. Let's help our poor Malaysians first and then talk about helping others thousands of miles away.
Hamas is a violent and malicious organisation and is already considered a terrorist group by many peace-loving countries. If we still want to kaypoh, then send the aid stuff to an Israeli port, let the Israelis check them for any weapons and then send it straight to the Gazans who need the aid and not to Hamas.
It is all politics and self-survival over there in the Middle East. Stop poking our noses into the situation there or Malaysian body bags will come home instead of living humans. Wake up you bodoh people and feed our own poor people living in the streets and shanty huts first!

  11. Sorry to say, I can't support this flotilla. It had been hijacked from the start by a bunch of people who had an agenda that was not exactly humanitarian in nature. See the videos and see the latest pictures released by Turkey of injured Israeli commandos. Fact is the first few commandos who abseiled into the boats were waylaid and attacked. If they had had their UZIs with them, there would not have been 7 Israelis injured.

Pacifist activists were what we were made to believe were on the boat. The kind of attack that took place, from the videos that were made, were vicious and hate filled. Tree huggers are not into that.

The MV Mavi Marmara did not have 600 over non-violent people. There were, at least 10-20 who had come prepared to goad and to threaten and to incite the Israeli commandos to respond in the way they have been trained to when threatened. They actually took some of the beatings as we can all see before they responded. Had they responded according to the standard operating procedure of the Malaysian Police the Israeli commandos would not have suffered any injured. And we would have more than just 9 dead. We would have had 14 year olds and pregnant women and children dead as well.

The Malaysian press makes it out like as if any lives were under threat or that after being detained they would ahve a miserable life. Once again, fact is the Malaysians detained would have been better dealt than the way we deal with refugees in our own detention centres.

So what really is this vigil all about? Shiok sendiri?

  14. in my oppinion the malaysian government should just stay away from this matter. there are some truth on some of the comments posted. the malaysian government should focus more on the in house problem first. only then focus on the other matter such as what happened in the gaza. its not that im against the volunteering work that the NGO had prepared but if we look back in our country. there are so many poorer family that needed our (malaysian) help. like they said, charity begins at home. so the malaysian government should be more aware and start to take a drastic action to prevent this mattes ASAP.

Clarification/Correction Regarding Audio Transmission Between Flotilla and Israeli Navy
    5 June 2010

Yesterday evening on 4 June 2010, the IDF released an audio recording of a radio transmission between the Israeli Navy vessel and the Flotilla ships wherein unidentified flotilla passengers tell the Israeli Navy vessel to “shut up, go back to Auschwitz” and “we’re helping Arabs go against the US, don’t forget 9/11.”

There have been questions regarding the authenticity of the recording as well as its attribution to a communication with the Mavi Marmara.

So to clarify: the audio was edited down to cut out periods of silence over the radio as well as incomprehensible comments so as to make it easier for people to listen to the exchange.

We have now uploaded the entire segment of 5 minutes and 58 seconds in which the exchange took place and the comments were made.

This transmission had originally cited the Mavi Marmara ship as being the source of these remarks, however, due to an open channel, the specific ship or ships in the “Freedom Flotilla” responding to the Israeli Navy could not be identified.

During radio transmissions between Israeli Navy and the ships of the “Free Gaza” Flotilla on 31 May 2010, the Israeli Navy ship attempts to make contact with the ‘Defne Y’ on channel 1-6.

Other ships from the flotilla respond on the channel, without identifying themselves. At some point during the radio exchange the Israeli Navy is told by one of the ships to “shut up, go back to Auschwitz” (2:05) and “don’t forget 9-11″ (5:42).

    Videos of the Transmissions...

Below are both the edited and unedited version of the exchange:
    Edited:

Unedited: We hope that this clarifies any questions that may have been raised regarding the radio exchange.

    Cheers.

  16. Those who oppose the activist's effort to help the Gaza people are actually opposing it based on their sentiment against the BN.

  17. Anon417pm...so what if they do?What would you say if Mother Teresa and Mama Rosmad lead the activists?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I would say those activists are pursuing a noble cause. We should support this effort by anyone trying to free the Gaza people. But blaming the Hamas as terrorist group is naive and putting injustice towards these people who actually fight for their freedom against the Zionist regime.

  19. We should leave the Middle East affairs alone.

It is 'The Clash of the Titans' between Gods of different faiths. As there has been no real outcome so far but continuos warfare (for thousands of years since the crusade war), we should focus on improving the lives of our poor and underpriviledged people. Don't politicise middle east conflict, don't capitalize on the situation to be a 'hero'.

  22. We look at the Malays in Singapore and ask, how are they able to have a GDP per capita which is a few times higher than the Malays here? They didn’t have the New Economic Policy (NEP). What they did have was a good education, a clean government and meritocracy.

The Perkasa mindset plays on the Malays’ fears that without rent seeking, corruption, subsidies and abuse of power, the Malays are doomed. Yes, the Malays are generally poor but the so-called affirmative action as proposed by Perkasa will not make the majority of them better off.

It will only enrich the few Malays at the top who can take advantage of it. At the same time the mindset of most of the Malays will still be focussed on their poverty, ignorance and an inability to compete in today’s economic environment.

  24. This is the prophesy about the flesh at war against the Spirit. We are reminded that our war is not against blood and flesh, but the spiritual warfare against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world. Creature cannot fight against Creator. It is a vain conceit.
