THEY plan to bankrupt US!

THIS IS WHAT THE STAR WILL LET YOU KNOW.

AND

THIS

IS

WHAT

THEY

WILL

NOT

TELL

YOU

BRIEFLY.....

CORRUPTION

Even the usually combative erudite Tun did not pooh-pooh Wain's revelation that billions upon billions were lost during his stewardship. We are buying bath-tubs that blew a Mongolian lass into smithereens, aircraft without engines and other military apparatchiks at bloated prices. The country will of course be bankrupt....but not the beneficiaries, yah?

Remember the bartering for MALAYSIAN FROGS? Historically, frogs never cost so much as in this Bolehland.

You can't forget this wheeling and dealing WAH TOLONG LU, LU TOLONG WAH, comedy played out in Sibu?

That's briefly.....you know better.

PROJECTS (WASTAGE)

VERY BRIEFLY....

A white elephant project that brought about the downfall of a corporate chieftan and an RTM editor. Read one of my readers input:

Anonymous said...

See how Mahatir and CM sarawak stole from the country! You still have money until now? I thought we had been bankrupted long ago!

EXPLOSIVE NEWS FROM SARAWAK
BAKUN DAM IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER WHITE ELEPHANT.

The whole 15 Billion Ringgit Bakun dam project (Supposed to produce 2400 Mw) was conceived by corrupt Mahathir to steal the 10 Billion ringgit worth of Timber from the Chief Minister of Sarawak Taib Mahmud who “owns” all the Timber in Sarawak.
The timber from the forest the size of Singapore (otherwise would be extracted by the CM) is now stolen by Mahathir as Bakun is a federal project. Mahathir asked his favorite crony Ting Pek King to extract the Timber. Ting Pek King Subcontracts the extraction to Hii Chang Pee who underreported the volume extracted thereby ‘cheating’ Ting. Mr.Hii subsequently had a high profile court case with Ting. That is another story.
Hee just opened his new "Pullman Hotel", 2 years after Ting's "Four Points Sheration", both in Kuching.

Ting is building another Sheraton in Miri, his 2nd hometown, after Bintangor his birthplace.
Now Bakun can provide enough electricity to supply Sarawak’s need 4 times over. Yet Taib Mahmud wants to build another dam Murun, amongst many.
WHY?

His brother in law Aziz Hussein runs the company building the dams. His sister's company provides the construction work. Taib’s company CMS is producing the cement! And he also controls and profit from the steel imports!

Now Sarawak electrical company Sesco is now privatized and owned by the CM Taib and his ministers who call it Sarawak Energy Bhd. Taib does not want to buy the electricity from Bakun because of his Timber 10 billion worth was stolen by Mahathir, therefore he wanted to build another 900 M v Murun dam upstream from Bakun costing 5 billion (1/3 the size of Bakun) Now Murun is 10% completed and need more funds which international banks will not lend to Taib’s company Sarawak Energy because it is privately owned by Taib and his cabinet. So Taib now wants to reverse ‘privatize’ the Sarawak Energy company after striping the assets to the government of Sarawak and then obtain loans from foreigners.

So they say Rio Tinto an Australian co is interested to use the Bakun electricity which is not true. Then they say a Chinese co maybe keen. This is a lie as the federal groups now realize Bakun is becoming a white elephant.

Now the 600 mile cable from Bakun to west Malaysia has to pass 70% of the way near few islands owned by Indonesia and only 30% of the way is Malaysia owned. So Indonesia has not given permission and is also not keen on to buy Bakun electricity as it cannot afford. There is not a single company in the world that can make a 600 mile long cable. The electricity loss would be tremendous. (80 %?) And the earth quakes would break the cable. Sabotage and damage due to ships anchors and other passing ships have to be factored in.

I would not be surprised Bakun will produce electricity in few years time but remain a white elephant – much to the credit of the reckless and corrupt PM Mahathir with many stupid ideas and corrupted CM of Sarawak Taib Mahmud who is reputed to be one of the richest men on earth.

  4. BeEnd has just given us the reason to vote them out.

    The key problem is corruption.
They can cut subsidy but the savings will still go to the cronies' pocket who can migrate to overseas safe haven when the country go bankrupt in 9 years.

We need pepople like Tony Pua who knows economics better than any of the idris jala+Koh Tsu koon. BeEnd never believe in meritocracy and their policy makers are useless (see Sime Darby loss and other financial scandals like Perwaja, MAS, Proton...).

It's time to vote for Pakatan to form the next government. BeEnd will lead us to be another Greece!!!!

  5. Kleptocracy, from Greek: κλέπτης (thief) and κράτος (rule), is a term applied to a government that takes advantage of governmental corruption to extend the personal wealth and political power of government officials and the ruling class (collectively, kleptocrats), via the embezzlement of state funds at the expense of the wider population, sometimes without even the pretense of honest service. The term means "rule by thieves". Not an "official" form of government (such as democracy, republic, monarchy, theocracy) the term is a pejorative for governments perceived to have a particularly severe and systemic problem with the selfish misappropriation of public funds by those in power.

The kleptocracy has ruled this country for 53 years. NOW is the moment we get rid of the kleptocracy and we could only do this if we are united as one Bangsa Malaysia.

  6. Bro

Without spending 1 cent or employing gaji buta KPI Ministers and staff costing millions, here are some suggestions to save $83.5 billion over the next 5 years:

    1. Re-negotiate all IPP 100% cost (and gas subsidised) pass through take or pay IPP croney contracts. Current cost to Tenaga $13 billion. Annual savings - $8 billion.

    2. Re-negotiate all guaranteed toll highway croney contracts. Asas Serba's $50 billion 7.5% dividend guaranteed offer shows there's a lot of fat there!! Current cost to Govt - $4.6 billion. Annual savings - $4.6 billion.

3.Re-negotiate all guaranteed water contracts. Annual savings - $2 billion at least.

    4. Downsize Civil Service costing $42 billion a year by 5% this year. That's $2.1 billion savings.

That's $16.7 billion annually and $83.5 billion over 5 years!!

They can raise billions more by tendering out for sale land at Sg. Besi, Sg.Buloh, Jln Duta (Matrade) and Cochrane Road instead of the usual "negotiated give away" contracts to more croneys!!!!

But to start with the Govt can cancel the $8 billion light manoeuvrable tank contract awarded to DRB Hicom.

Rosemajib and Jala are clearly lying and trying to cover up the UMNO/BN crime in allowing the national debt to rise to a record $362 billion. They are trying to pass the buck to the poor Rakyat!!

    We must stop them, NOW!!

  7. Cancerous Disease

Kill the cancerous disease and the patient will survive, likewise get rid of the root cause and the Nation will survive and thrive.

It does not matter what they do because whatever they do will be to no avail. Like RPK said in London, it is no good attempting to treat the symptoms because it just simply will not work. It is the cancerous disease that should be treated. So therefore as long as UMNO is in the driver seat then absolutely nothing could be done. Before anything else, UMNO will first have to line their pockets, then their families pockets, then their cronies pockets and then whatever morsels left to the selected segment of the rakyat. So how much is enough? It does not matter how much natural resources Malaysia possess for come one day these resources will eventually be exhausted. Then what?

Be like Singapore one might suggest. But do our leaders have that mentality and maturity to do so? With the present government – not by an extra mile mate!

So what can we the rakyat do? Well we can change all these just by a stroke of the pen. Quoting RPK, ‘We the rakyat is the boss’. So come GE13 with the stroke of the pen, we could effectively change the government and consign UMNO/BN to the gutter. Well not totally to the gutter but enough to effect them to be the opposition as at the end of the day checks and balances are still needed irregardless of who is forming the government on that day.

Let us put all our Jaguh Kampung Politicians, Cronies, etc aside for now & Look at the "Time Proven Best Practices Benchmark"

Malaysia lost their once "Great Malaysian Sons" who could have given Malaysia their all, to make Malaysia a great nation....

Thanks to people like the late Syed Jaafar Albar & Syed Nasir, who first created the rift & bikerings that caused Tengku to expell Singapore....LKY was shocked & he cried! Syed Jaafar Albar http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syed_Jaafar_Albar "...Later, he had participated in verbal duels with the charismatic Singaporean Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew, over the issue of ketuanan Melayu (Malay sovereignty over Malaysia).
Lee accused Albar of being an "ultra" for making remarks such as "Wherever I am, I am a Malay." Lee excoriated him for this, asking "If I had been going round and saying what [he] has been saying — wherever I am, I am a Chinese — where would we be? But I keep on reminding the people that I am a Malaysian. I am learning Bahasa Kebangsaan (Malay, the national language) and I accept Article 153 of the Constitution."[6]
Albar also accused Lee and some other Chinese Malaysians — referring to them as kaum pendatang or pendatang asing (immigrants) — of being lodgers (orang tumpangan), abusing the hospitality of the Malays who were the "masters of the house".
This provoked a response from Cabinet member Lim Swee Aun, who insisted "we are co-owners, not lodgers, not guests."[7][8] Unquote.

Goh, a Peranakan who was born in Malacca on Oct 6, 1918, retired as deputy prime minister in December 1984 due to personal reasons.

The "economic architect" of Singapore contributed greatly to shaping the country into a prosperous nation as the first finance minister in 1959 and later as the defence minister of an independent Singapore. Goh was the son of a rich family in Malacca. His father, Goh Leng Inn, was a manager of a rubber plantation. His mother hailed from the family that produced famous Malaysian politicians Tun Tan Cheng Lock and his son, Tun Tan Siew Sin. - Bernama

One of the prominent "brain trusts" of Tavistock, the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance and Commerce (founded by Eric Trist) has become one of the most important Tavistock brainwashing institutions, insofar as "Behavioral Research" is concerned.

Wharton attracts clients such as the U.S. Department of Labor, which teaches how to produce *cooked* statistics at the "Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates Incorporated".

This method was very much in demand as we came to the close of 1991, with millions more people out of work than was reflected in the USDL statistics.

This "institution" has graduated such *prominent* alums as Donald Trump, a shining testament to the "callous and glibly egotistical mercenaries" it churns out to do "its bidding".

Trump's daughter, Ivanka, also "graduated" (one can only wonder how many favors Donald had to agree to do in order for that feat to be accomplished!) from this pretentious brainwashing center." Unquote....towards the NWO Agenda.

Globalisation is very Dynamic & Bolehland cannot even resolve itself to even think of, move & participate beyond its shores to understand the impact to this nation & its citizens soon!

The Election Commission has flatly disallowed online registration but the PR will press on for its implementation and to also make possible postal voting for overseas Malaysians. This would be a main trust by PR in view of GE13.

No, proxy registration is not permissible. This will encourage phantom votes which has been an effective weapon of the BN in cohort with the EC.

  20. If they really want to remove subsidies that impact every individual they got to first start with those that impact a few first. Like rather than the value of the AP going to the individual cronies, it can go to the government coffers. The fact that Idris Jala failed to even make this suggestion puts a big question mark over the credibility of his solution to avoiding Malaysia going bankrupt.

He could also provide solutions to put a stop to the government having to subsidise the IPPs, PLUS and a whole host of other projects.

These are vote winning suggestions and yet they would rather lose votes with the proposals presently presented than to win if it meant that cronies and themselves were going to lose out.

I can't possibly take Idris Jala seriously as obviously he appears to have missed the elephants in the room and can only see the flies and little ants.

  21. Any BN government proposed cuts in subsidies and unnecessary expenditure should start from the top!

As it is the top is unbearably heavy for nation/rakyat to bear and taking a toll on the nation's coffer - maintainence of the 9 royal household and palaces of the Yg di-Pertuas of Penang, Melaka, Sabah and Sarawak including official residences of the Prime Minister and Deputy PM must be reduced to a comfortable minimum. They too should tighten their belts first and any unneccessary expenditure/perks be curbed. Don't think the public/tax-payers can further maintain their expensive upkeeps when we ourselves find it hard even to put decent food on our table to feed our families.

So convince us this regime is getting its priorities right and is working in the right direction to save this country from going bankrupt. Then we talk. Respect is mutual.

As for postal votes for Malaysians abroad, won't there be a greater risk of manipulatioin compared to the postal votes back home?
