MORE THAN SEVEN HOURS FROM LCCT TO SIBU?

Impossible but true a misadventure that befell Fauzi and I. Others will throw the Murphy’s Law bit to console us, but we did not accept this. At the departure gate we were told that we had missed our flights. We had checked in at 12:29 for our 1355 Air Asia flight to Sibu. We checked in two pieces of luggage. When you check in your baggage, you are in the airport, unless you are a bomber who disappears to detonate a safe distance away. Air Asia claimed that they made an announcement. If I am dumb, Fauzi is not deaf. Malaysian Airport Information Desk confirmed that they made no announcement. Air Asia claimed that they made the announcement at the departure gate. I demanded to hear a recording of that announcement but was told that it was not possible. FAUZI believes that our seats were given to somebody HERE.

Aside: When we boarded finally for the 7:35pm flight seats 3DEF across to us were empty….the flight that was delayed from its scheduled fully-booked 6:35pm flight. Good actors, those guys manning the Customer Service Counter. Later, if I have nothing to write about I might do a posting of how Air Asia played God Almighty on some of their other customers.

  3. Uncle Zorro, I've encountered the same thing before. Wanted to check in but was told our seats had been sold off to standby passengers even though we were there before the counter closing time. And unlike you, they didn't even have the courtesy of giving us replacement seats!

AirAsia = BN crony. All they do is sapu duit rakyat.

  5. Uncle Zorro,

You should believe it's a conspiracy to deny you and Fauzi from making the trip to Sibu to shore up support for DAP in the Sibu buy-election.

Stranger things have happened such as the senile pseudo indian-malay racist ex-PM suddenly having recovered from his selective amnesia and calling all non-BN Chinese supporters as extremists. Even stranger still is the Ipariahim Alee suddenly seemed to have lost his voice (and balls!!!) for not defending the Permaisuri Agong against the treacherous act of the Fat Lady for calling herself the First Lady and the Kelantan sultan's crisis.

  8. no doubt those fellas in AsiaAir aware that bunch of Pakatan Rakyat supporters will bring big change to people of sarawak and obviously they worry about this as well. if those sarawakian gomen fellas can afford to spend RM10mil in USA for some dumno dumbo advert, what is there to exert influence on AsiaAir to stop the wind of change from Pakatan Rakyat.

watch out that Rejang River still full with big man-eaters Bujang Senangs, so when you're on land of hornbills, watch out for two-legged crocs since people can go missing easily in land of hornbill than in afghanistan or even colombia!

all the best of luck, take care.
