An old friend surely has a name...most of mine have. Anyway Zaid knows how to handle himself. We are content to just walk beside him in support. If you claim to be an old friend, I invite you to join us,ok?....unless you believe we back losers.
Zaid wants to be PM one day any way he can............ if you look at his actions over the years, he was always looking for a shortcut to leapfrog the other Umno contenders.
His principles are whatever takes him into the limelight - though done intelligently - and sometimes are like the statement ....these are my principles and if they don't suit the moment I have others that might!
Unfortunately he is probably the best among the potential PR candidates and anyone would be better than one from MIC.....so good luck to him!
One man's opinion - don't trust him just yet, Zorro.
This is the party strategy and that is to nominate someone who can win the seat. I personally think Zaid is the best man for the job anyway.
Those that cast aspersions on his character are those that are the spinmeisters from BN.
Zaid is a principled man and he had explained the spinnings of UMNO made to taint his character.
However, UMNO can of worms and venomous snakes could not answer to their own leaders guilt on betrayal ( APCO ) ; Altantunya ( murder ); corruption ( submarines, PKFZ land sale, helicopter purchase, stadium roof collapse etc ) racism ( Ahmad Ismail, Nasir Safar, Noh Omar , BTN etc ) and many many others.
Don't be too happy.
ReplyDeleteIt seems we are just killing Zaid's political future by making him stand in Hulu Selangor.

ReplyDeleteA.O.F.
ReplyDeleteTry reading the pro-UMNO blogs and you'll find little nuggets of information about the 'lazy' BN aduns of Hulu Selangor.
Front page news like the one you've mentioned could be a planted red herring as part of the on-going psy-war.
Hint: muay tai.
Another hint: BM proficiency.
Good luck on your mission.
