MY CHOICE FOR HULU SELANGOR.

AT 12:46am I get this SMS from Fauzi of Perisik Rakyat: I think we push for Datuk Zaid as candidate for Hulu Selangor.

  1. Not realistic!
Hulu Sgor is largely rural - local issues play a larger role than national interests.
Zaid would be a parachute candidate. The locals would resent that.
Furthermore, Zaid has issues and can be easily painted as "anti Malay".
U need a local village boy who is friendly, clean and whom the natives can relate to.
Save Zaid for an mixed Urban seat - he would have a better chance there.
Zaid in Hulu Selangor is sure defeat for PR.

P.s. - heard the jokers in HRP want to get in on the act!!!

  5. Dear Zorro,
Since when did Datuk Zaid had the interests of the People of Hulu Selangor???
Just field any Tom, Dick & Harry, Pembangkang Rakyat (PR) could just win!!!
Maybe, BN may concede this by-election like Penanti!!!

  6. Zaid's the one. He's the one who is going to give brain-dead Barisan bastards and goons a bloody nose. Go for it Zaid.

  7. It makes perfect sense. Me thinks he is PM material. B end will have 2 PM materials to deal with n taxing on their resources to double spin.

  8. Zaid Ibrahim a man of principle, honor and integrity is the best choice.

  9. Absolutely. He is the only one with any credibility and integrity

  10. YES Zaid please!

Let's do a signature campaign and give them to PR

  11. "Hulu Selangor rep died? Nope. Nobody died. He slept and forgot to wake up. Seat not vacant", said the Election Comm, if this is a BN seat. This would be so funny.

  12. While Zaid Ibrahim seems to be a natural choice, we should ask ourselves the following questions:

    (i) Should we burden him or distract him from his task of holding Pakatan Rakyat together and shaping their united policy? Is Zaid better off serving Pakatan Rakyat without these extra obligations as a 'fill-in' candidate at the moment?
(ii) Would he be interested in this position in the first place?
(iii) People would usually vote someone they know from the local area who is trustable and will serve their interests in Parliament. Is Zaid one of them?

  13. since zaid is not a local boy, neither was the late dr. zainal. he's from kajang. what about palanivel the bn candidate? is he local?

  15. Zaid is a man of principle. HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY ONE.
Please let him stand for the by-election. I am sure he will get most of the rakyat support. UMNO cannot use their under hand dirty racial tactics this time.
    Long live PKR.

  19. Brother!!! Don't get excited over the selection of candidate.
There are too many silent voters within this constituency. Keep calm or PAKATAN will suffer another blow.
Let the memories of the former Arwah Dr Zainal passed away this few days, then bang the name brother.

A friend from a kampong in Hulu Selangor53. Just my 2 cents or zilch!!

  21. Lets this be the stepping stone for Zaid to be PM.Apart from kuli,no other malay candidates come close.

  22. I am fro Hulu Selangor. And we the locals want a local not someone fro the outside who dont understand our local problems.

    ReplyDelete
  23. If Datuk Zaid say Yes he will do it for the Pakatan, then let it be Zaid. But only if he agrees wholeheartedly.

    ReplyDelete
  24. In an urban area, Zaid is OK to be the candidate... but this is a rural area... we must look at locals sentiment... who do they want....? if not, they won't vote for PR...

    ReplyDelete
  25. I hope those people in Hulu Selangor understands what outstanding good qualities Zaid posesses!

    ReplyDelete
  26. uh-huh great candidate good suggestion! Yeah strategise, get him to Parliament then onto inextricable check!

  27. Another shocker! ..another PKR idiot, its VP Sivarasa is now talking "race" call to field an "Indian" in Hulu Selangor by-election?
I would have expected him a VP to come out with a suggestion for someone "capable and respected" irrespective of race, color or creed.

So deep down inside these hypocrites hiding in the folds see nothing but color huh?!

  28. If it is Zaid and Palanivel, I will vote for an Independent.
    Both are lousy.

  29. Bro Z,
I suggest Dr.M and I wan to see how popular he is with his 'warrior lap-dog' Ibrahim Ali Perkasa. This old man is senile or wat? Associating with smelly racist characters like IA. Tell BN to put him up as a candidate n sure will lose 'lat-fu'(cantonese).Will lose his deposit also whether Tun or no Tun.

  30. Yes, we want Zaid Ibrahim too for Pakatan Rakyat candidate.

    Bring him on ...

  31. If he is not, can we have him for Pantai Dalam. Nurul is nice but unfortunately not seen as effective.
