  1. The Sentul Village
The century old dwelling will go
    By 15/12/09 for new developments
Saying the old has no value

    Tomorrow the bulldozers revving in
Sinking its jaws on the helpless homes
    “People's first Performance now”
The trick majority seems to fall

It is money in the eyes
Pockets need to get full all the time
Any prime land within the city
    “Goodbye folks it is mine!”

It reminds me of my village
    Uprooted and made way
    For concrete buildings and highways
Fully congested and smog get into your eyes

    Footprints all gone
    Nothing only in memories
Few days ago I was told
This highway I cut rubber trees
Passing through streams and small waterfalls
Drinking streamed water and refreshing natural secondary forest

    It is sad to see
    The people needs always fall
Money seems to be the object of envy
The Sentul Village another one to go

  4. In our haste to catch up with materialism, we have lost the greatest gift from god: Compassion. This scene of the old man tugs at our heartstrings. This enduring image is being played out in the country as Umno thugs and cronies work full speed to get rich.

  6. This Sentul kampong is very close by to MIC President home, no stopping for them to approach the Humble King of Sentul Kingdom, Dato Seri Samy Vello and seek his help.

But obviously after all these 50 years, the Sentul folks had never learnt any lesson is supporting DUMNO allies, MIC (Makan-Itu-Capati).

In that case the Sentul Folks just deserves what they've done in the last 50 years right.

  9. Zorro,

Everyday we are bombarded by racists taunts directed at us who are pendatangs. So what if the Sentul settlement is 100 years old. It makes no difference because there is no such thing as heritage for pendatangs to 1Malaysia. All it matters is that the Sentul settlement is not a Ketuanan Melayu settlement, period.

Indians are pendatangs and they have no right to any settlements on 1Tanah Melayu. 1Tanah Melayu is reserved only for 1UMNO people, the Lords of Ketuanan Melayu and for muslim migrants from Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines and some African countries.

If the Sentul pendatangs don't like it or they have no place to stay after the 1UMNO led government "roboh-ed" the settlement, then the indian pendatangs can go back from they "datang" from. This is 1Malaysia and pendatangs are 2nd or 3rd class.

This is 1Tanah Melayu and the malays are the masters of this melayu soil. For the pendatangs, we either accept this and bow down to the melayu Tuans or we pack our bags and leave. So pure and simple.

  10. Those who worship (or pay lip-service to) false gods know no compassion and condemn themselves to a loveless hell of their own design. Yet they keep following this ancient pattern from the Dark Ages. Guess they are utterly incapable of original thinking and can only keep repeating past errors. A classic example being "Sodomy II"!

  11. Anon134pm....do you understand what you read.
Did you go to the links provided. These people have been offered homes in Puchong at the other end of the state. You make a fool of yourself when you bark wrongly. If you fail to understand what is posted you could do yourself a favor by not visiting this blog. I am sorry I seem to stress you needlessly. It was not my intention.

  14. Puchong is a highly developed area of Klang Valley.
What's wrong with Puchong? There are plenty of up-market housing schemes and public amenities.

And first of all, Are you offering any solutions to these people? Sympathy alone is not enough.

If not please shut up instead of politicizing these people without actually helping them.

I supposed if PR rule, none of the illegal setinggans will be relocated and Kuala Lumpur will be full of slum areas just to please them and get their votes, while denying their opportunity to improve their living conditions.

    Clearly you are an opportunist!!

Of course, what does the opposition knows about governing? Look at Penang and Selangor. Kedah is in bad shape - I was there last couple of months. Kelantan is also another story with scandals and mismanagement finally in the open.

If you want to direct tamil movies, you have chosen the perfect pictures for your scene
