THE LEAST I EXPECT FROM READERS IS A MODICUM OF CRITICAL THINKING.

I do not expect readers to agree with my postings. I expect them to read and make sensible judgements guided by a modicum of critical thinking. I expect them to call me names but I REJECT comments that FLING  personal insults at another commenter. That I do not expect and accept. But most important, I ask that readers understand what is posted and make no inference to what is not posted. I just ask readers to respect VIEWs of others. I like to be guided by  William Congreve's advice: He who closes his ears to the views of others shows little confidence in the integrity of his own views.

It is a good time here to thank those who came in with good critical comments. Thank you if you agreed with me and I also thank you for disagreeing with me. I take all this as a learning process because I believe that the moment we think there is nothing more to be learned, is the tipping-point that accelerates new learnings.

  1. Zorro, you know why I keep on visiting your wonderful blog without fail every, probably, 2 to three hours? It's because it is a wonderful place where you can comment freely. Keep up the good work. It is a joy visiting your site where protagonists and antagonists have a chance to spar. Keep it up, brudder.

  2. One shoe does not fit all sizes, therefore there will be disagreements when birds of different feathers meet.

In simple words, one's meat is another's poison.

A person should be judged by his actions, not personality. But in today's atmosphere, personality issues seem to matter most. Triviality seem to conquer and opposing views are considered 'enemies of the state'.

Unity usually comes at grieving times, but when things are going well, the human race will always forget how it happened.

Oh well, life has to go on with or without friends, colleagues, enemies or foes.

    A GOOD MAN DOES NOTHING.

  3. Flavours of life
It doesn't come in silver platter
You have to go out and make it happens
Which way you want to go

    It's in your own routines
    Learning and acquiring it
    Admit mistakes and move on
    Past is a guide post
    Don't dwell too long
    There is life beyond

    Flavours of life
    You are alone decide
    You have a choice
    You make your own difference

    Don't put blame on others
Don't try to hide your weaknesses
    It's the flavours of life
    You make the difference

  4. Totally agree with you on the decorum one must practice. Don't you hate those smart asses who like to tear other commentators apart personally. One can disagree but personal attacks on the other person is uncouth.
