SO many things have been happening and not a hoot from Hantu. I passed the word around about the Fart Chamber being idle. The wise guy, true to his nature responded with an sms this morning:
"According to Bar Council website, one ROHAIZAT OTHMAN was struck off the rolls under S103D of LPA. Same person nominated for by-election?"
I went into the website and found this in the comment box:

Tried searching his name on the legal directory database but couldn't find any...however this name seem to appear on the struck off roles list for March 2008.

Is this the same guy? If he is, Muhyiddin had misled the public i suppose. Shouldn't Bar Council be doing anything about this?

This bloke was de-registered by the Bar Council but apparently still practice syarie law (whatever that means).

You are right. There could be 101 Rohaizat Othmans in Malaysia.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it is best that the nominee clarify this himself. That way, there is no misinformation by anyone. All he needs to say is YES, he has been struck off the rolls or NO, that is a different person.
But if he does not clear the air on this, say in three days time, what should the rakyat think ?

Actually, there’s no such thing as a Bar Council blaclist.
Not as far as I know, anyway.

There is a Rohaizat Othman who had been struck of the rolls of the Malaysian Bar.
And this Rohaizat and the BN candidate are one and the same.
