PEWARIS LOST THEIR WAY TO CIVIC CENTRE?

I was really looking forward to this debate between GMI (No to ISA) and Pewaris (Champions of ISA). But the Champions did not show up. GMI invited Pewaris to debate on whether ISA was Haram or Halal. Probably the topic was too compicated because from past experiences I have only heard this group shout: YES TO ISA. When asked why they say Yes To ISA their stock answer was because ISA protects malay rights. Dang, that was deep, all right.

Anyway they did not show up but the show went on. YB Tuan Haji Saari Sanguib - a two-time old boy of Kem Kamunting spoke on his experiences and how the Special Branch did their work, always scripted for them. He drew loud applause and laughter when he warned the audience: Don't trust the Special Branch. Never trust the Special Branch.

At Q&A session, a member of the audience volunteered that Pewaris may take up the challenge but they need some three months to come to an agreement on WHY they want the ISA. Another participant replied that by the time they come to an agreement, Hisham would have freed all the detainees.

After the "debate" I sought out Laila because her husband Mat Shah Mohd Satray again was not on the list of those who will be released soon. I told her to keep the faith and we knocked knuckles.

I then left for Lotus with Ambrose, Robert and Eric to meet D'Nightcaller, Datuk & Datin Ariff (Sakmonkol AK47 & MamaSita).

  1. Any detainee released from ISA shall be used as a political trump card to show the new kid on the block, i.e. the PM. Honestly, after all these decades of open debate on this foul legislation, this Government is not going to hand out the goodies without getting some credit in return. Yes, it may be true they are listening. But the bottom line of the Government's SINCERITY is still very much a BIG QUESTION MARK. Only time will tell.

  2. Malaysia1206...I get your drift, but let us thank God for little mercies and little gains. Let us continue to focus on the total appeal of this foul legislation.

  6. FYI Joe, Johnny Walker does have a Blue and even Green Label besides the run of the mill Red and standard fare blended Black Label.

A walk through quality control, we start at the lower end with the Red - a bit harsh lah - and venture to the Black - very acceptable blended whisky bottle to share with friends.

The Blue is a posher(better, aged longer albeit blended, that was release in the Japanese mkt) while the Green is a mighty fine blend, aged for a minimum of 18 years.

G'day all and drink one for me Joe.

  10. It's a step closer to convince such puppeted-gov-organisations to support the release of fellow citizens being treated like Terrorists in Guantanamo Bay.

When ISA laws are used on citizens and not the real Al-qaeda agents who has been living here and channeling funds illegally to Al-Qaeda then there something really wrong with a Gov who're suppose to 'protect' & serve its citizens.

Pewaris are just mock troopers who lobbies the all powerful AMNO for projects and favors. It is shameful they're claiming to defend this oppressive act in the name of Islam when their true objectives are to obey orders from their Paymasters.

Zorro, I support your uncomprised integrity.
