I have always wondered, how the BN government choose the head of these agencies.....because when push comes to shove, the squeeze will ooze out some incredible, incredulous and strangely preposterous and senseless results. Today, I am convinced after reading this in YB, Adun for Subang Jaya, Hannah Yeoh's blog-posting. Hannah hardly post about politics as her constituents come before politics. However, this time it was different. Find out WHY in this posting of hers:
Emergency motion
I am now writing this during lunch break at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly. At 2:30pm today (Friday 13 March 2009), if you follow the live online streaming, you will be able to witness the emergency motion put forward by Kampung Tunku, Lau Weng San. This emergency motion will debate on the revelation exposed by Bukit Antarabangsa, Azmin Ali two days ago - the discovery of the formation of a Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Kerja Tindakan Persekutuan Negeri Selangor Bil.1/2009 held on the 26 February 2009 by the Prime Minister's Department.
One of the objectives of this committee is to ensure that Barisan Nasional captures Selangor back in the 13th General Elections. Unbelievable! Their "people centric" programs focus on giving funds to the people of Selangor ("voters?").
The most unbelievable part is this - guess who sits in this committee? Hold your breath, here's the list:
Chairman :
Pejabat Pembangunan Negeri
Members :
Majlis Keselamatan Negara,
Jabatan Belia dan Sukan,
Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia,
Jabatan Hal Ehwal Khas,
Jabatan Kemajuan Masyarakat,
Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional
and (the mother of all shockers……..parenthesis mine.)
The Election Commission of
SO BRACE YOURSELVES FOR MORE MACHINATIONS
AND CHICANERY FOR THE COMING
BUY-ELECTIONS FROM THIS GOVERNMENT-SPONSORED ELECTION COMMISSION.
Master yb hannah also should tell the mb to remove all the bn especially the u must not oppose kind out of the civil service in sel.
ReplyDeleteafter working for 28 yrs in the civil service in sel i thought the time had come when pr took over but sadly nothing happened.Iam putting in my papers for early retirement as i feel nothing changes even after i had send e mails to various pr yb nothing happened about the wrongdoings.(WITH NAMES MIND YOU)
We fellow Malaysian must educate each other about this machination so that we are not fooled by the BN tricks.Teach them a lesson by kicking them out in the next general election and to those selangorians(I am one of them)give the PR government a bigger majority in everything, votes, representation in state assembly whwtever you can think of as we Malaysians demand a free and fair election and ethics in the conduct of our government, political parties, politicians and institutions especially those institution that are being paid by the public.
ReplyDeleteTo regain democracy and social justice in Bolehland, everyone must focus on one direction, vote for change.
ReplyDeleteThe weak link is the conservative voters, who have always given their votes to BN because, either they have no confidence with PR or, have no desire to rock the boat. PR should persuade and convince this lot to change their minds...it won't be easy but, it is possible.
Fighting these 'bought' over Institutions by BN will be a tough task to dislodge...these corrupted structures will take more than one full term to dismantle...if Pr came to power, retire off all these unprincipled scumbags from office or even charged them for corruption if evidences are available.
It's time we rally our rakyat's common call to all our Malay brothers and sisters to reject Barisan and their brand of corrupt and racilist politics once and for all. Rise to the occasion and stand tall with all your other fellow brethen to seek a change for the good of this Nation. United we stand, Divided we fall. Are we now matured enough to see the light of day after 50 years of divisive politics?

we need malays to talk to malays. most (umno blind-loyal die-hards) malays will not listen to non-malays.
ReplyDeleteyou have to be the same colour as them b4 they even open their ears to you.
sad...
we need pkr and pas to talk to the malays. they matter most. they are the majority.
carmanio.
Bernard, Terrible, simply terrible. Its so depressing. Really, I am amazed that it seems like no one, even the government servants - dominated by one race -could not think straight for a moment. Is there no one left who actually believes in being loyal and faithful to his country? *Sigh* Are we fighting a lost cause? Should we also bow to the money god? Never mind the people and the country, lets steal, rob, plunder, rape, murder .... semua pun ok....as long as there is power and riches to be had.
ReplyDeleteThen when its all gone (its almost gone now), what is there left? Its no wonder when I hear the Negara Ku now, it sounds more like a dirge than an anthem.
Most of us are not surprise.
ReplyDeleteThe election commission might even hires Mickey Mouse to campaign for the bn comes next election and the budget will comes from the rakyat!
We knew the the election chief main duty is to protect bn.
We are in Bolehland.
Please do not be surprise.

ReplyDeleteYou are making this a one-sided racial issue. Why talk to Malays only? What about the MCA & Gerakan and MIC. UMNO may be the dominant party in the BN but they are not the only contributor to the ills of this country. We are all responsible because for too long we remained subservient until we realised the raw people power we could unleash. But that raw people power is the rakyat, irrespective of race. Lets think Malaysian and never on ethnic lines.
MACC is not our it is paid only with our money like all other agencies and institutions.
ReplyDeleteBN/UMNO Execrable, attempts a clean-up yet the puss keeps surfacing. This is a corps that needs amputation after all; the anti-bodies are all dead even the operating courts Ops! theater is infested and insanities’. Here’s the remedy: MIC has to be chopped off PPP warrant some serious dosage of antiseptic and viral flushing and the MCA beginning with its tongue eye ears and testicles could do with some strict bandaging and isolation least they burst into a smelly and violent mucus as they normally do come every GA. As for UMNO quarantine without exception, don’t even announce it, and decapitate this syndrome like scabies and anything (One) near IT. We got rid of polio TB typhoid but dengue and UMNO are as stubborn as any plague, worst than the ravages during a civil war. This BN corps exudes as Dr M returns to his practice, this time gloves off as everyone is definitely infected-there goes the understatement-Infected you said? I have no sympathy. BN/UMNO must never mutate not in this life.
You are right Zorro, the last name is the mother of all shockers! What nonsense it this! SPR is bending backwards to be bias!
ReplyDeleteZorro, what do you expect when even the Chief Justice is ignorant of his portfolio's KPIs? I have written about it. Read and weep!
ReplyDeletePerhaps some Barisan Rakyat MP can file a police report and get the Auditor General to investigate whether usage of Taxpayers' money and Govt facilities/time to plot the fall of the Selangor Govt is illegal and misappropriation of money!
ReplyDeleteAnd the EC and its ex Chief have still not told us about the huge price discrepancy in purchase of indelible India Ink, who was given the contract to buy it and who they have sold it to and at what price loss!
http://donplaypuks.blogspot.com
This fucking Umno-led government is so fucked up and clueless that they dont give a damn about public opinion any more. Idiots, morons. And we are unfortunate to be ruled by them. Help us, God.
ReplyDeleteBernard,
ReplyDeleteThis is OT but important. RPK is talking about a People Movement
which is perfectly alright and I am all for it. However what I am worried about is RPK is prepared to accept 3 corner fight. As it is, going against the BN apparatus is difficult enough, we don't need more complications making the battle more difficult. What is your opinion on this? If you agree with me that we don't need this complications of 3 or more corner battle, hope you will communicate this to RPK. I don't have an account there so can't comment there.
Zorro, this maybe off the topic just more "noise" of interest in Saeawak specifically Batang Ai comments by Apai again in JT's blog http://thebrokenshield.blogspot.com/2009/03/in-iban-areas-projects-are-waiting-for.html The comments by Apai are hard to be ignored. The B end state ministers are beating around the bush and unintentionally hurting each other ala casualties in friendly fire.
ReplyDeletehey !zaid has called the king NOT to appoint the present dpm to be the new pm in april !!

ReplyDeleteI just visited....still kicking tyhe cobbolt way.
EC has the temerity to usurp the powers of the Speaker! what else they wont do?
ReplyDeleteThey are just like stray mongrels and at the sole beckoning of Najib and his goons. Nothing is impossible to them and they are so darn proud of their misdemeanors.and they called themselves muslims and God-fearing. Its more like Najib-fearing!
