JUST HOW DESPERATE CAN THEY BE.....

Chan Wei See, Asst. Editor (Feature) and Journalist Chen Shaua Fui decided to make a police report. Earlier on in the Media Centre, set up by the Ministry of Information, and over a period of time Chan and Chen and 4 Malaysiakini journalist were told to write on blank pieces of paper their names, organization and cellphone numbers. Upon completing that a staff of the centre gave each a white envelope. In each envelope were 6 RM50 notes. The 4 Malaysiakini reporters returned the money to the Media Centre’s staff who, with angelic innocence, claimed they are not aware of what transpired.

Chan and Chen too received a white envelope each with similar contents totaling RM300 in each envelope. They did not surrender the money as they decided to make a police report. That was why Haris and I accompanied them to make their police report..

And if you think this is an isolated case go HERE for another act of desperation presumably by the BN who are still thinking of ways and means, no matter how sinful, vile and despicable, to win this by-election.

AND DON'T FAIL TO WATCH MALAYSIAKINI'S VIDEO ON THIS.

READ HARIS' TAKE HERE.

  1. A miserly sum of RM300 to these reporters while they are getting away with millions and billions of the taypayers' moneys for over 20+ years? No way! If they should increase the amount to RM10K or more, I'd suggest to these reporters to take the cold hard cash quietly and yet write up their usual no-holds-barred reports without fear and favour. Syabas to these decent Malaysians who showed they really care when it matters most in these circumstances.

  2. " by/buy/bye elecion !? i dun care, by hook or by crook, we must win...win...WIN... !! "( BN LEADERS)

when the dpm announced giving $$$$$$ to >200 chinese schools, mca otk shamelessly stood by the side, giggling & forgetting how he was 'insulted&scolded' by the keris-muddin ( stood nearby) when he had exposed the scandal whereby the contracter masuked 27k but used ONLY 3k to repair one chinese school !
to-day the useless mca feels extremely grateful to the gment NOT realising the $$$$$$$
actually comes from 90% of the tax revenue derived from the chinese ! SIGH !! WAKE UP MAN, kt CHINESE !!

  5. Hey Zoro, so long as no C4 is used, o.k. la....What is 6 RM50 note compared to 50 million suddenly promised to Chinese schools?

Question is, are the Chinese(Read, MCA) holding UMNO to ransom or UMNO bribing the Chinese?

  6. Downtown KT is till lively at 12.10 am 17th Jan '09. Sensing voters will send another trong message to BN based on reception to Tian Chua's speech at Kg Cina and the "Panadol (PAS)" flag procession across town.

Hey Zorro, I saw RPK and the gang congregating admiring the passing vehicles but I did not see you...too tired riding horses heh?

    Till then...G'nite M'sia...wherever u are...

  8. Old Fart, when a dog climbs on the back of a bitch, which one is MCA and which one is UMNO. It does not matter, end of the day, they both share the same pleasure!

  9. Obviously UMNO/BN is desperate. They need this KT seat by hook or by crook! Ten months ago at Permatang Pauh, they gave out rm200 ang-pows but here in KT it's rm300.

  10. Zorro & team,

You guys have done all you could till the very last minute of the campaign period. Now it's up to the voters to decide not only for the parliamentary seat of KT but the future of the nation. How could that be some might ask. Well, if PAS takes KT even with the blatant attempt by BN to buy this election, the message is clear. IT IS NOW IRRELEVANT WHETHER BN LISTENS TO THE RAKYAT OR NOT. WE WILL TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY ONE WAY OR ANOTHER !!!

On a personal note, I would suggest that the Info minister stuff at least 3000 pieces of RM50 notes up his ass. When he feels he's going to cum with the usual foaming thru his mouth, he should go unload it on the new alpha male of the MCA. Mofos and Assholes take on a new meaning everyday with these running dogs. They'll try to mount your thigh every chance they get.

Trial by fire. The downtrodden will always win in the end because they are usually the majority.

  11. Nightcaller, I was posting and I saw my buddies with the crowd....they were not admiring the spectacle....when I finally joined they they were participating on the streets. The Virgin Mother blew so many kisses to the Police that she polished off my glass of brew that I allowed her to just sip.

Join us for a whooping time tomorrow night. Shout for me.

  12. Shameless!
Still going to the police, while right thing to do, will not yield anything. Put the journos on ceramah and let them share their stories among the rakyat. Journos should report the crime in their newspapers as true journos must. Otherwise, its left on zorro's blog alone.

Cmon reporters, do the right thing.
