If Day I is a benchmark barometer to go by, then I say that PAS will plaster UMNO convincingly.
The Nomination Day physical local support of PAS upstaged the rent-a-crowd pathetic support of the ruling state coalition. It was unabashedly embarrassing such that STAR had to revise their earlier quoted figure to safeguard their faltering credibility, which has been glaringly and shamelessly consistent.
In the late afternoon, the Barisan Rakyat Bloggers, were invited to PAS Headquarters at Kuala Ibai by Mafuz Omar and Dr Zulkifli Ahmad, MP for Kuala Selangor. It was essentially a "brain-picking” session. We were particularly interested in PAS's perception of the non-Malay voters in KT. We were impressed with PAS strategies for the campaign as it jived in well with what we bloggers wanted to be emphatic about during our stay in KT. We felt good after the meeting. We were convinced that planning was spot on and much better than at Permatang Pauh. We left with a promise from PAS that timely feedback would be the modus operandi between both parties.
I ALREADY LIKED THIS GUY!
FOR SURE, YB WAHID AND THIS OTHER GUY, YM RPK DEFINITELY WON ROUND 1 FOR PAS ON DAY 1
Having been a resident of KT for some 20 years Pete took the occasion to move from table to table to press flesh and renew old acquantances. .
At the end of the night it was revealed that DAP had few members amongst the diners. The majority were MCA people. But from the response given to Pete, Wahid and the other speakers it foretold something like what Pete said earlier in his speech.....the Chinese will be the king-makers in this by-election.
Simultaneously, a ceramah perdana was held at Ladang where the big-wigs in PR spoke to a 30 thousand audience. We gave this a miss as interacting with the Chinese voters at the dinner was key to our mission in this campaign.
YES, emphatically much grounds were gained and like what Malaysia Today reported Round 1 to Pakatan Rakyat aka PAS
Good work, bro! SYABAS, all ye Barisan Rakyat Bloggers working the campaign & reporting live from the frontlines!
ReplyDeletezorro,

It is good to be optimistic, it is good to be confident but, don't under estimate the evil minds of UMNO. They have NEVER learned to win justly and fairly. As polling day draws nearer, the actions of these cheats in BN will be actively engaged themselves with dirty tricks.
ReplyDeleteThey did'nt bring in 6000 blue uniform monkeys for show, Botak has something up his sleeves.
To the Rakyat bloggers, keep safe and enjoy your stay in KT.
A win for PR!
Rosemajibbed is wrong! Every by-election and election up to 2013 is about the leadership of this country.
ReplyDeleteAnd come hell or highwater, we must endeavour to make sure BN does not get a foot in anymore.
Barisan Rakyat forever!!
