THIS GUY NEEDS MORE THAN AN OIL CHANGE, TUNE-UP AND REALIGNMENT.

Like his botak boss, this windbag of lies, sang the same tune: We took them in to protect them (the Jerit cyclists. Tell me people, the way these coppers are behaving, how many of you would holler for our mata mata to protect you'? Me, I feel safer hiding behind my 88 year old mother. I hear reports this morning that windbag mobilised a few hundred uniformed and non-uniformed men to protect our Jerit boys......................

and these two kids are still missing.....the Selangor police should round up all children, put them in Police Day-Care Centres. In fact if the Selangor Menteri Besar cannot effect a transfer out of Selangor for this Class 1, Division 1 liar, the State Government should set up a Day Care centre and appoint this windbag as Director/Supervisor of this Care Centre....kind of lateral transfer with no loss in salary and benefits.

Here are what some Malaysiakini readers have to say about liars....no prize for guessing who they are pointing their fingers at......

'At National Service camps, teenagers are introduced to machine guns. But when they participate in a social awareness campaign, police regard them as children who are not old enough to ride a bicycle.'

On S'gor top cop: We acted to save under-aged cyclists

Templer: Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar’s statement that the children had no clue about the campaign is an utter lie. This group of people have been following the campaign from Kedah, so please don’t tell us they didn’t know what they were cycling for.

Khalid also said that he saved the children from being exploited. This is another lie. It was the police, themselves under the instruction of Khalid, who exploited the children. They were arrested at a car park, surrounded by yellow tape, not allowed to move around, left to get wet in heavy rain and forced to spend the night in a police station. Their parents were also not allowed to enter the police station.

If Khalid really wants to save children, may I suggest he starts with the children of migrant workers, refugees, the poor, street children and child labourers. And what about children like Nurin Jazlin who was brutally killed and Sharlinie Nashar who is still missing. What have your men done for these girls?

Save and protect children who really need help. Not the children who have been cycling for the betterment of the nation.

Helen: Officially, the National Service programme can recruit conscripts starting from the age of 16. At the NS camps, these teenagers are introduced to machine guns. We would suppose that after they have completed their training, our teens would be ready to defend the country.

But when 16 to 17-year-olds participate in a social awareness campaign like Jerit, police regard them as children who are not old enough to ride a bicycle with their group of friends.

Abigail de Vries: I would like to ask the Selangor Police Chief who claimed that the arrest of the cyclists was "to prevent them from being exploited or misused by irresponsible groups", if the Malaysian police force is now in the habit of arresting people for their own protection. I am reminded of the same reason given for the arrest of a reporter under the ISA not long ago.

If that is so, then are we to expect the police to arrest the many people who need to be protected from being robbed or raped daily? This would indeed be a novel approach to law enforcement.

It’s a wonder that the police don’t already have their hands full, what with the rampant crime in our city streets that they would want to add to their case load by arresting people for cycling!

Please Khalid, times are hard. Why not save our precious tax-payer ringgit and arrest real criminals instead of ordinary citizens peacefully trying to exercise their rights and raise awareness of important issues. I fail to see what the crime in that is.

Free-Willed: The Selangor Police Chief has indeed made a mockery of democracy and the rakyat's peaceful efforts to highlight to the prime minister and his line of men and women, the needs of the people.

The campaign aims to highlight the plight of marginalised communities and concerned citizens have taken up this noble role of cycling across the nation to responsibly inform both the rakyat and our leaders of their needs and demands for improvement.

An MP who prior to becoming an MP had already served the rakyat, an uncommon sight among leaders today, was charged for all the wrong reasons. There were consent letters given by parents but still the police chief refused to acknowledge the altruistic role played by the highly respected MP Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj.

I urge the police to withdraw the charge against this fearless MP.

It is also disturbing to note that children were held overnight at the police station and food was not provided until much later.

The police chief has to apologise for his lack of concern for the overall safety and needs of the children he booked for an activity that is peaceful in nature.

arutchelvan psm interview 010208 panPolice acts condemned

PSM in a strongly-worded statement today condemned the "arrest, harassment, intimidation, humiliation and ill-treatment of the cyclists and activists".

"The police stooped low today when they claimed that the children were exploited", he said, also condemning the use of the Police Act and Child Act to start investigations.

"This is utter rubbish coming from the police force, which has long lost its credibility," said PSM secretary-general S Arutchelvan.
.
He added that all the young cyclists had obtained parental consent.

  1. they are not "children" anymore! They are youngsters or youth. They can think better then the Khalid. The police make them sounds like 5-6 year-old kids!!!! Which is misleading the public!!!

  2. Ladies and gentlemen, may i now present The Greatest and Mightiest LIAR in the history of mankind- the SELANGOR POLICE CHIEF!

What a humiliation to have such a Chief when my overseas friends asking me whether Malaysia can teen cycling on the street. Some other friends from Nigeria admire him for his concern on child abuse and would like to migrate to Selangor coz their children will not be exploited.

  3. Please pass this message to your boss, CPO Khalid: The corrupt & despicable Umno-serving PDRM under IGP Musa Hassan is running on limited battery power. Your charger has just been deactivated by the rakyat. Let's see how long you can maintain your silly sham... before the next tsunami sweeps you (and all the psychic parasites you harbor within your decayed soul) to oblivion - and beyond.

  7. Maybe if Anwarista's didnt take away precious time from our police then they can focus their efforts towards fighting crime.

Too much resources being thinly spread out to entertain selfish people.

When you act in a manner that forces the cops to entertain you, then dont complain if our streets are less safe.

Fellow malaysians, look at this people. Look at these selfish Anwaristas and rabid chinese racists. DOnt fall into their trap. they do not care for malaysia. They care for their own agenda. How are the police going to keep us safe when they are busy being tied up by selfish people just like this?

  10. Bald is beautiful. God created men to be bald. The ugly ones he covered with hair.

Let's see who the great baldies are :

Kojack,Botak Chin,Ali Botak,Tun Razak, Lord Buddha, Raja Petra,Bruce Willis,Ghandi, Musa Hitam, to name a few.

But, which botak boss are we referring to? If it is Najib, he is three quarters bald. So he does not qualify to be in the bald club.

Anyway, it is still easier to send an AR Registered Post, rather than doing the old postman's job on a bicycle.

    A GOOD MAN DOES NOTHING.

  11. What a bunch of nonsense.

So, all this is just perception? It's as real as reality to me.

All these people - liars and their boss - are living in their dreamlands. Getting the pleasure from their own lies. Wet dreams maybe.

  12. This is Bolehland in action. Umno-Bn rigime are stuffed with goons and
donkeys. With Botak as a HM leading the charge, are we surprised, to expect inefficiency and incompetence?
The Home Minister is a bloody joke of the nation and now, we have a CPO, the greatest liar this country ever produced.
Sadly, we have to put up with these sort of 'talents', only found in UMNO.

  13. I have commented this issue too many already.
So, i just want say a good news. "Harakah / HarakahDaily and their readers" the PAS news presented rm40,000 to GMI .The fund is to help victims of the ISA.
I am surprise that Harakah mention "victims of the ISA " .very appropriate i would say.
Well done to PAS and members of the Pakatan Rakyat.

  14. My daughter is 17 and she's been called for National Service. (By the way, just in case this idiot liar does not know, daughter means, perempuan, girl).

Now, she is under threat by an Act of Law that if she does not attend, she can be dealt like an adult and thrown into prison.

But, going by this useful idiot's reckoning, that an 18 year old is a child, can an Act meant for adults be applied on a child?

Now, he does not wnat these children on the road cycling. Yet he has nothing to say about the prospect of my daughter having to hold a gun in her hand. And I don't want her to hold a gun in her hand.

Aiya, I guess he is just a clown acting out his show, and I guess somewhere there he expects us to applaud him.

  17. I was disgusted to read that this yucky cop was 'awarded' by our HRH Sultan Selangor recently. I was not the only one. There must be some mistake here.

This CPO shithead and his Musang boss most be the all time two most despised and cursed cops. There is nothing good associated with them, just plain distaste.

Despite difficulties these young souls had to go thru and all the sleepless nites their parents had endured during JERIT campaign, i thank God our Ibu Pertiwi will be much better in near future with these brave young souls.

  19. FU lah. If the pulis is sincere in protecting the underaged then please clean up your act when taking reports of child abuse and rapes from victims. Simply want to vomit when I heard stories of how these victims were handled when making reports at the balais. Then shouldn't children be prohibited from lining (under the hot mid-day sun) along the motorways waving tiny flags to welcome VIPS who were driven past in big, comfortable aircond limos??? Then school children must not be forced to take part in the annual Merdeka parades and perform dances under the hot sun while the Ministers cool themselves under the cover of shades??? WTF why the triple standard??? Don tok kok lah!

REALLY, I THINK HE HAS LIED THROUGH HIS TEETH IN THE COURSE OF HIM WORKING IN THE POLICE FORCE

  22. Despite the idiotic behaviour of the police in regards to recent events, the NST still has the cheek to carry on with their stupid "Heroes in Blue" series in the news page. If I'm a foreigner who reads the local news and blogs, I'll be confused. On the one hand, I read about police intimidation and statements that defies logic, and in the paper I read about those Heroes in Blues. Perhaps, you may have some so-called heroes in blue of yesteryears but it seems today the blue uniform is viewed with contempt and regarded as a big joke, good for nothing except to play the role of a political clown.
