IF ONLY......if only....

Events of the last three days - the PWTC Open House, the dday trip to Kamunting to lend support to groups from Penang and Perak to wish RPK Selamat Hari Raya and last night's hugely successfull Pandamaran Anti-ISA Rally - left me emotionally energised but physically drained..............and the punch that Gee concoted at her open house this afternoon left me woozy.......and I got this call:

Pak Lah will not contest the Presidency and giving the said pole position to his annointed 2nd in command with a message: Take it but never say that I did not warn you ......the grinding stone will be out and things will be a-sharpening......be armoured. Me I am going to take a good rest. I hope to send KJ over to Anwar for nurturing and reeducation. Jibby, you can take possession of Omar Ong, Khalid and the rest....how you use them will be how useful they will be to you. My advice to you Jibby, you rule not her ok? Make the best use of your short tenure....you may not have enough time to cover all bases and plug those holes(?). I don't want you to enter the Guiness Book of Records for being the .........you know what I mean, yah? Yes one more item to interest you....Ku Li will court Anwar who may give him the premiership for a term. Howzat? Me I am leaving these interesting times.....and Jibby, your biggest mistake was to send RPK to Kamunting. Remember? He and his boys, those bloody bloggers did contribute to the efforts that wrested GE12 and Permatang Pauh from us. And I heard you paid good duit to start your own blog too. Don't waste your time blogging. Better you start flogging our badly imploded mare UMNO. One parting shot.....the only guy you can trust would be your cousin Hisham. Muhy, is a spent force, like many riding our tired mare. You guys made fun of me and thought that I was sleeping....my eyes may be shut and I could from exprience simulate a purring snore, BUT MY HEARING WAS NEVER IMPAIRED. I am calling it quits because none of you wanted to nurse the old mare to health. Goodbye and good luckJibby, you sorely need the latter. Let me ramble one last time: be warned.

......................and that damn alarm clock clanged annoyingly.....dang it was just a dream....but dreams are ........what is that word for it....some machinations of the subconscious?

...............if only, just if only.......the bait is taken.....time to go a-fishing and to watch MU scorch Blackburn. No?

  1. So that is the nameless son-in-law I read about from somewhere!
Aha! The plot thickens and our minds got to work overtime to compute. But mine will not compute until RPK is out from Kamunting and I mean OUT & HOME not out and at PJ sessions court!
(Note: Zorro, I saw you at Kamunting on Thurs, just to shy to come up to say hello. You look every bit the defender of the oppressed.. at least your size does!).

  2. Peng....equally my sentiments too. It would have been my privilege to have bonded with you. You should have come forward....size mostly deceive....fact is I am awfully gentle...and often shy. I morphed when I smell oppression of the oppressed....don't we all. Cheers Peng and take care. WE WILL GET PETE OUT.

  3. Zorro, I will take your bait and take the bite next time I spot you in the vicinity. Actually you look like a gentle, friendly bear (you know the huggable type!). Anyway, let's keep up with the action to get RPK out. Have a good weekend.

  4. We dream
The days with joy and smile
    Yet in reality we realize
    We have businesses never done

    Changing landscape
    In politics we craze
Let a new man taking charge
    And see where he leads

Enough of the plots and twists
Half truths and half past six
People have gone wiser in years
Only the BN thinks we are children

Like the late Joshua Benjamin Jeyaratnam
    Affectionately called JBJ of Singapore
A leaf one can learn from him
Nobody can take away his fighting spirit
And his brain to fight for justice for all

    So here we go on
Pushing for the draconian laws in the dustbin
Forever bury it and never see the light of day
ISA and other laws impede in democracy
It mustn’t be allowed to choke our lives
It isn’t what we voted for our representatives
Forming government to prison us away
Without trial and reasonable time to defend

    No Sir we want rights
    To defend for our belief
Not a law to silent us
Without bringing a charge at all

    For RPK and other detainees
We will write until they are released
    Peaceful protests and vigils……

  5. Dear Zorro,

Perhaps it would be wise to lower a tad bit your aspirations regarding manchester united. This year around I think they won't go far. Chelsea is the team to beat. Perhaps if you give me your address...I'd send a true blue jersy for you. Maybe Ballack's name on the back?

Well anyways, have a pleasant weekend Zorro.

    :)

  6. Don't worry Uncle Bernard. I have prayed hard enough, and the answer is your dreams will come true. Jibby is gonna be the PM for 1 day and end the RAHMAN curse instantly.

    1. I have a problem. I cannot remember the date I was married. As a result I always get into trouble with my wife.

    2. She has a remarkable memory for dates, not just her own or our special dates but she can remember the dates of birth of all her children, the dates of their marriage, the birthdays of all 17 of my grandchildren and even of her sisters and brothers and late parents.

    3. So I can rely on her and sign the birthday cards she passed on to me. Unfortunately she cannot remember much of what she read when studying medicine. So I used to coach her. Thus we complement each other.

    4. God has endowed Man (and Woman) with the ability to remember. That is the basic difference between us and the animals.

    5. But with age our memory fails on details. Some brilliant people can remember what they did on a particular day 10 - 15 years ago, remember every detail, including the words they had spoken and the people they met etc. I am not among these people. I remember some events in which I was involved but only vaguely.

    6. If you ask me what did I do on 12th August 1982, or on any other day, I would not be able to tell you. Other people with the proverbial photographic memory can, but I cannot. I am quite certain if I ask the questioner what he did on any particular day in the times long past he probably cannot tell me either. But then in a court or Commission he or the judge or Commissioners have the right to question, I had only the right to answer.

    7. This is very unsatisfactory. In a court of law, if you fail to remember every detail of what you did on a particular day 5, 10 or 15 years ago, then you must be lying, you must be hiding something. This possibility would be ominous - though it may not be ascertained with exactitude. But why bother about those niceties. Just conclude that a person who cannot remember is simply lying.

    8. I am going to take a memory course. Should I have occasion to be investigated or summoned to face a trial, I would be able to remember the suit I wore any day in my life and where I was when wearing the particular suit on a particular day.

    9. By the same token a person who had been sodomised must know the exact time of the day that it happened, the colour of the room and the size of the bed. If he fails to remember any of these things, then he must be lying.

    10. Such is the law. So please try to memorise everything you do every day. Don't forget the details. It can be fatal for you.

  11. zorro

aint no day dream. news confirmed that kuli is meeting up with his old pals in Pakatan. Avalanche of hoppers from UMNO to Pakatan led by Kuli and those fellas from Sabah and Sarawak will move with unison. That will make my day to see UMNO, the house of bigots and racists, losing its pot of gold.
Really, I cant wait to see a more united country under Pakatan. And of course, RPK free again.

Anon 10:07AM. I feel deeply for you guys. I am touched by your frustration and helplessness. So young and you feel you do not have a future for your kids that will come. Let me again recall for your benefit what RPK said to me: Don't get mad; get even. But violence is not the way to get even. Subtlety is more effective and you young minds who have tasted the freedom in the west can come out with more creative initiatives. I believe you can. Think about it. This is a beautiful country with a mix of beautiful and good people. That is our strength....work on our strengths rather than dwell on our weaknesses. Invariably our weakness will be overcome by our strengths. This country has been messed up big time by the BN government. Things can change at the polling booth. We proved it on March 8. We will prove it again, come the next GE, which could be sooner than you can say Jack Robinson. Put your "guns" away...bond, bond, bond with each other and YOU YOUNG GUNS will prove that the people are the bosses. I believe in my young people in this country. You are our future. Dont get mad - get even. Email me if you need to further communicate (ktswee@hotmail.com). Let me say this again: This country will be rebuilt by YOU, THE YOUNG AND THE EAGER.
