GEE, I FELT GOOD TODAY.

I arrived at the PJ Sessions Court at 8:15am and was thrilled to see RPK's supporters congregating in batches outside the courthouse and in the courtyard of the courthouse. I thanked as many as possible, for their support. MOST were clad in the now-familiar T-Shirt.

But my day got better as I saw my dear friends Gerry and Christine came through the gates. It was a good surprise. I grew up with Gerard Rozells in the mid 50's, schooled together in St.Xaviers, coached football together in Selangor, and now live in the same condominium. Gerry and Chris had come to lend support to Pete in his sedition trial.

Before Sessions Court Judge Justice Rozina Ayod came in from her chambers we were able to see Pete. I was able give him a hug and stiffled a sob. He looked gaunt, lost some weight, and his sugar level is at 5 from 8. But let me just say this. If the authorities tried to smother Pete, they have failed miserably. He is still gutsy, combative, indestructable (yet) and as sharp as ever.

I came out of the first days hearing, elated. Chandra, Pete's lead counsel was just BRILLIANT! He summarised the days proceedings with questions at the Government's expert IT witness, Harme Mohamad, Deputy Director, International Affairs Department, MCMC:

It went like this, after establishing the fact that Harme does read Malaysia Today.

Chandra: Do you agree that since his incarceration in Kamunting, three or four postings were allegedly posted by Raja Petra?

Harme: Yes.

Chandra: So anybody can put up a post under the name of Raja Petra. You agree.

Harme: Yes.

Chandra: Do you think he wrote against corruption?

Harme: Yes.

Chandra: He also championed transparency?

Harme: Yes.

Chandra: Did he abhor money politics?

Harme: Yes

Chandra: Did he write against ethnic polarisation?

Harme: Yes.

Go here and here for my lawyer/farmer's take on the proceedings:

+++++

Justice Rozina Ayob is pretty/beautiful. She came into courst although she wa on medical leave. She was sharp. She was perky. She came across as firm but fair. Is she God-sent. I fervently hope so.

See you guys tomorrow, 9:00am, same place and thanks so much for showing up this morning.

  7. Hi Zor, the bloke standing next to you must be Rosell, the footballer and coach. I think, he may still remember me, he was teaching in Seremban, St Paul's Inst.
I am glad, we are all fighting for the same cause.

..A MALAYSIAN couple were beaten to death by family members in a bizarre ritual to cure them of a smoking habit and illnesses, reports say.

A 15-year-old daughter of one of the four relatives who carried out the beating was also attacked after stumbling onto the scene and is fighting for her life in hospital.

Police spokesman Ku Chin Wah told the official Bernama news agency that the attack took place when Mohamed Ibrahim Kader Mydin, 47, and his wife Rosina Mydin Pillay, 41, visited their family yesterday.

They mentioned that Mohamed Ibrahim was seeking help to stop his smoking habit, and that his wife was suffering from asthma and a liver ailment.

"Following this, a 23-year-old male relative suggested that the couple undergo a ritual which involved all family members joining forces to beat up the couple to rid them of their ailments,'' Mr Ku told Bernama.

The four relatives smashed the couple's heads on a table and assaulted them with crash helmets and brooms, he said.

An ambulance was called hours later when they had not regained consciousness.

Bernama said that one of the four suspects, who are now in custody, was believed to belong to a
    "deviant'' cult.

Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim country and authorities periodically crack down on unauthorised sects.

I allowed your comment thru just to prove a point that there are amongst us people who take the slightest opportunity to satiate their lust and urge to criticise and demonise what they themselves will not or don't have that moral gumption to do. These are the sour-puss and the boo-boo boys. We buy our own drinks and malt would taste flat if you bought them. I am sure by now you know what I want to say: if you cannot make a fair comment on this subject, stay out of this blog. You do not add value to this blog.

  19. Yes. I felt, feel, and feeling good today. I was there at about 1:00pm even though the session adjourned to Monday, as I didn't know the court was closed shop for the rest for the afternoon.

Met a few late comer and had a few chat with new found friends, of cause, the RPK's supporters. We departed from there about 2:00pm after the rain begin to pour.

RPK, even you weren't there but your fighting spirit is still alive.

From I heard that RPK's heart has some problem. RPK, please take care of your health.

I pray to the Heavenly Father that RPK's heart is getting better.

I will be there on Monday, 13th Oct 2008

    Cheers to all.
