AHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MONGOLIA!

YEP.....from a most unhlikely source, I have been reliably informed.....straight from the Steppes of Inner Mongolia comes this conversation. I was also reliably informed that this was sent to Malaysia Today as a sequel to the letter sent by Altantuya's father. Read on

The following text message correspondence is between YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, and Dato' Shafee Abdullah, a Malaysian lawyer who initially represented Abdul Razak Abdullah Baginda who is on trial for abeting the murder of Mongolian national, Altantuya Shaariibuu.

While it does not answer lingering questions about Najib's alleged past relations with Altantuya, the text messages show clearly Najib's active intereference in the case very early on. The messages highlight Najib's willingness to speak with both members of the Attorney General's Chambers and Inspector General of Police about the case, something that suggests an abuse of executive power.

What is particularly revealing and troubling is that the counsel, Shafee, keeps asking Najib for details indicating some political intervention that may have influenced the case. This observation is strengthened by Najib's message to Shafee on 16 November 2006: "Pls do not say anything to the press today. i will explain later. RB will have to face a tentative charge but all is not lost." This message raises a lot of questions about Najib's role in this case. Why did he mention "tentative" charge and that "all is not lost" for RB (Razak Baginda)? How would Najib know this before Razak was charged? Is there already a deal in place that will see Razak aquitted? These are important questions which will have ramifications not just on this case but far beyond.

The text messages were transmitted between Najib's personal mobile phone (+6012 2143177) and Shafee's mobile phone (+6012 3257052).

Those who seek the truth should challenge Najib and Shafee to deny that this correspondence took place between them. Perhaps a record of the messages still resides in the server of the relevant telecommunications company.

The truth is buried somewhere. Those who know what truly happened hope that the truth has been buried deep with Altantuya. But the funny thing is, the truth always finds its way into the hands of those who fight for justice – sometimes in the most mysterious circumstances......ahaaaaaaaaa!

The SMS-Chat Begin ....

S2N Date: 10/11/2006 15:19:40

S2N Date: 11/11/2006 09:26:52

--> It is clear that the Police will ask for extention t'row.I will resist strongly in view of the fact that the last few days investigation on RB have completed investigations that require RB's presence in custody.Secondly, from yesterday the Police has done nothing much with him except to do the dna.Thirdly, I am concerned with the Police carelessness yesterday in allowing the 3 other suspects to be freely mixing and therefore tainting their subsequent stmnts as they could be 'group coached'.But it also show Police no longer need to isolate the suspects.Even RB was handcuffed to the C/I. Salam . Shafee

N2S Date: 11/11/2006 11:46:48

S2N Date: 17/11/2006 10:50:30

--> Dato Seri, Its important you speak toYusoff Zainal Abidin as he knows the law a lot better in the Chambers.I am confident he is concerned with the negligible evidence agst Razak. The Raja Mahani and Tengku Ariston cases ought to be the guiding critera for AG.They cannot afford another scandallous loss by the Prosecution as in Norita, Ariston,Dato Balwant etc.

  1. Just when I thought this matter had lost it's steam, here is such breaking news. I got wind of it at about 6 pm when I saw a new category on Malaysiakini.

But your post with the pictures, make it even more delicious!

    Thanks. I'm full for now.

You're quite right there zorro. Altantuya has called on the spirit of her ancestors to exact retribution for her untimely demise. The painful and shameful journey of incarceration has just begun for Cherry-lips and his corpulent consort. This frigging philanderer might just find solace for his plonker in the keyhole of the door in his cell.

Just hope RPK could be out before the year is out.

  12. Not sure! If I am not mistaken, max number of characters per SMS text is 160. A few of S2N's SMS were more than 160 characters. If the SMS is more than 160 characters, it will send in multi-part of SMS. If multi-part's sms, the date & time will be recorded.
    Please take care.

Zaid: Mahathir is back in power with Najib
    By Leslie Lau Consultant Editor

    http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/10327-

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 - Former de facto Law Minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim says Datuk Seri Najib Razak's impending rise to become Umno president and Prime Minister marks the return of "Mahathirism".

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, he said, will become Malaysia's "de facto PM", standing behind Najib.

He said the fall of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is a result of Dr Mahathir prevailing.

Zaid, who resigned recently from Abdullah's Cabinet in protest against the use of the Internal Security Act, said he did not expect Najib to continue Abdullah's reform agenda once he takes over.

"Legal and constitutional reforms make you less powerful, more accountable and less able to use the privileges of power.

"Why would someone trained and schooled by Dr Mahathir introduce reforms. Have you heard Najib speak of reforms?" he told The Malaysian Insider.

Zaid said he expects Najib's administration to be more authoritarian with more controls and restrictions compared to that of Abdullah's.

Abdullah, he said, believed in reforms, but "he did not have the stomach" to push through the changes needed.

During the interview he also responded to allegations made against him by Dr Mahathir on the latter's blog recently.

In his chedet.com blog, Dr Mahathir accused Zaid of being in Perth, Australia during the March general election, and for helping the Pas candidate win the Kota Baru constituency against the Barisan Nasional.

Dr Mahathir also criticised Zaid's move as minister to have the government institute ex-gratia payments to the judges who were sacked as a result of the 1988 judicial crisis.

Said Zaid in response: "He says I helped the Pas candidate, but the fact is Pas was going to win no matter what because of the anti-BN mood.

"He has conveniently forgotten that he actively asked the people to vote against BN to teach Abdullah a lesson."

Zaid added that Dr Mahathir would never be able to accept why ex-gratia payments were made to the judges because it reflects badly on his legacy as Prime Minister.

He said Dr Mahathir would never understand the need for reforms because, to him, "more authoritarianism is better".

The former minister said Malaysia's political and economic uncertainties today is a result of Dr Mahathir.

He also blamed Dr Mahathir for Umno's unpopularity and lack of proper leadership.

"The truth is we have had no proper election since 1987," he said in reference to the year in which Dr Mahathir defeated Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah by a wafer-thin majority to retain the Umno presidency.

Soon after that election, Umno was declared illegal in a court case which led eventually to the 1988 judicial crisis and the sacking of judges involved in the case.

Under Dr Mahathir, the Societies Act was also subsequently amended disallowing judicial review of any political party decision.

"After the Societies Act was amended the president of Umno could do anything.

"You have destroyed the fabric of our lives as a democracy. Have you not done enough?''

Zaid said Malaysia faced an uncertain and more authoritarian future when Najib takes over.

"You had 23 years of Dr Mahathir, so let's say Najib lasts for 10 years as PM with Mahathir behind him. That means a total of 33 years under Dr Mahathir."

  14. Wah, now got Najib's phone number can call and ask for scholarship - hooray! You help saiful right? Must help more Malaysian mah. Can also ask him why so garang on tv the other day; already so ugly some more want to make ugly faces and shout at people.

  16. So now, RPK is supposed to be safely guarded under the ISA. So who are they going to accuse now of publishing false or damaging information?

Honestly this is now getting really really embarrassing for all Malaysians. We are all supposed to have voted for this system of selecting who our Prime Minister is going to be. And by popular demand of teh entire population we are supposed to have put Najib in power.

But we know better. Najib is supposed to be chsen leader only by the Malays!!

Ooopss..not all Malays. Only members of UMNO!!

But then most in UMNO will say they still don't have the say. It is the UMNOputras, they will say, afraid the stink of the UMNOPutras will stick on them considering they are card carrying members of UMNO. So, nw you got UMNO members and UMNOPutras.

Then you will have the UMNOPutras coming out to say that they don't have a say over who is selected UMNO President who then becomes the Prime Minister. They then now accuse the UMNO Warlords.

Yes it would be the UMNO Warlords who determine who the Prime Minister will be. And see, what happens?

The UMNO Warlords decide who the Prime Minister is going to be. And he is supposed to be the leader of the Malays championing the Malay cause and representing the Malays on the world stage.

Now, suddenly some Malays wake up and feel disgusted that such a Malay as Najib should be their leader. A leader with so much baggage. They tuun and question the local UMNO members who they know.

The UMNO Members in turn turn around and ask their local UMNO Branch and Divisional leaders.

The UMNO Branck and Division leaders in turn, feeling the heat and a little embarrassed of their ultimate leader, turn to ask the UMNOPtras amonst them.

The UMNO Putras try to avoide and evade respponding until they cannot take it anymore.

So they go up to ther local UMNO Warlords and ask "Hey, can't you pick a better leader than this Najib. So malu man. Everyday this Raja Petra, through mysterious means, comes out with very shameful postings. Why you guys go nobody better to pick up as leader of UMNO and Prime Minister?

After a lot of avoiding and evading and shoving the questioners and they cannot take it anymore, they turn around and finally respond. " Hey, look la. We dd not pick up this Prime minister or the leader of UMNO. See la who control the strings? You think us MAlay warlords ah?

Can't you see all those super war lords over there?

    "What super warlords?"

Those mamaks la!! From Mahathr down. Now even this Bugis also compromise himself and let the Shafee guy control everything. Not us Malay UMNOPutras o.k..

Ah wel, that is the kind of merr-go-roud that we are going to be seeing I suppose.

Now, I too am thinking. After all Badawi did not promise or guarantee that Najib will be the next Prme Minister come March.

After all in Balasubramanisam's SD it was stated that Badawi had a secret report from Military nteligence. Now I wnder if this conversation is in it. and maybe, its Badawi or SIL releasing this information through Malaysia-Today....Hey, after all it is a series of speclations isn't it..So let us add to the rojak la.

  21. Zorro,

My humble opinion is that you are over anxious in your fight against the govt.

This is suppose to be 'Court Material' .... to be use against them and no chance for them to cover up their folly....

With your interesting articles.. whether true or not..... this give them a chance to cover up.

With our RPK nicely nested under ISA... don't be surprised that you are next ISA-in-waiting....

Think and think what can you achieve for revealing this article?
Does it serve any purposes? We as readers are normally hungry for this type of news... then we speculate and talk till midnight . Can this help to bring the downfall of Najis?
Can this help RPK in his coming trial....? If this can help then you are inadvertently spoiling the whole case.

It better sometime to ponder with your friends over a cuppa of coffee before you write any comment.. as I normally like .. kopi kau kau chi pui

Shafie being a lawyer would use his spoken words and to articulate the matter. This matter is not something to be communicated thru sms...esp when a lawyer is involved

How such info can be possibly obtained is beyond imagination, esp two phones.

Unless they're from the phone company. Now can any of the operators confirmed that their privac has been breached?

    THIS IS SO FAKE!

  33. hi zorro,

i am wary, as I always am when things like this get exposed.

three things are possible with the exposed smses.

    assuming they are genuine:

    1. either shafee or najib (or both of them) made known the smses to a third party.

    OR/AND

    2. either shafee or najib is, or BOTH are under surveillence. their phones are bugged/tapped.

    OR

    3.these are fabricated smses.

    cheers, Zorro!

This is not fake, but your mind is not as sharp as you think it is.
You don't need information from two phones lah, one enough. Don't you know about the functions of sent box and inbox on handphones?
Lesson on SMS which stands for Short Memory Syndrome for u... if i send 'Hi Moron' to your phone, it will be in MY sent box until i delete it.
And when you reply "Tq for the compliment" it will remain in MY inbox until i decide to delete it.

  38. Well nastybob, If I'm sms-ing something hanky-panky or P&C, or regarding my mistress, i would delete it asap.

The question that need to be asked is how that private info can be obtained realistically from BOTH phones. Or otherwise anyone can just draw-up another sms detailing love affair between you and say DSAI, and the whole would swallow without question.

The point is, what credibility this info carries?

Just like what this blog published about the alleged luxury home of Mugabe, without any proof of authenticity. Only those who look closely knew it was fake.

You can believe anything you want. But don't let yourself be fooled. just like Sept 16....

  39. The root problem now in Malaysia is that people are judged based on
    their race...

This basic question to test whether you are true Malaysian or prone to
be racist is by answering the basic questions:-

    1. Do u have any close friend other than your own ethnic friend? Do
you take efforts to understand their culture?
    2. When people from different race quarrel (let say without knowing
what are they quarreling), do you think is a race issue or their
    personal problem?
    3. When you choose your leader, is race your criteria/s?
    4. When you buy certain products or services, you based on the product
or service quality rather than race of people behind it? Ie if you are
sick and visit doctor, what criteria you choose for the doctor? is
    race your consideration?
    5. Do u agree that income tax and blood donation department are only
department in Malaysia where race is never a criteria for the
customer? Do u think other government departments should follow this
    principle and why?

If you have a close friend from other ethic, try to understand their
culture, and do not feel offended when your race involved in quarrel
with other races, choose leader based on leadership not race based,
buy product or service based on the quality and after sales service.
Never choose a doctor based on his/her race. 100% agree and realised
that this 2 departments (income tax and blood bank) never practise
race discrimination and believe other government departments should
    follow this principle....

I believed at least you are TRUE MALAYSIAN!

I truely believe this is what RPK Spirit is what it suppose to be!
    right?

I m very curious how many of you under this truely Malaysian category?
Please raise up you hand :-)

    Thank you!

  40. HAllo For those who are saying this is fabricated garbage pls think again or maybe few more times if you have the ability to do so. I dont think its fake because it contains a lot of information pertaining to the court case which is still incredibly ongoing @ a snail pace.

2nd point to be noted is that of the timing of the smses and the real life events.

3rd point to be noted is the spelling errors and style of writing.

Fourthly, DONT NEED 2 PHONES TO KNOW THE CONTENTS OF THE SMSES!! SMES dun just travel between 2 phones just like that! It need to go thru host of servers and databases so it can be relayed according to the phone numbers. Just need someone(cell phone service providers) of authority to know the content or someone in the phone company to unearth the info or some hacker to hack into the system which is not entirely impossible because its man made. They even can hack into the bank systems so what is a phone company to them?
