Al Blur DID Authorise ISA.
ReplyDeleteUtusan says so!!!
http://www.jeffooi.com/

ReplyDeleteYou are one heck of an Anak Bangsa Malaysia. I stand to salute you and the other Master Bloggers. Tonight all Anak Bangsa Malaysia will gather in Stadium MBPJ, Petaling Jaya, Selangor (negeri Pakatan Selangor) and show the world that Malaysians are united regardless of race, to oppose injustice, cruelty, torture and plain bullying.

ReplyDeleteThey did it differently in Bangladesh though...hmm...
I pray that you and all our other brave seekers of justice keep safe tonight. I am wary that they have approved the permit given the events passed and the events coming but let's hope that they allow all RPK/ DSAI supporters to meet peacefully this evening.Be prepared for sabotage of the worst kind though - we know what these people are capable of so be mindful that these desperados have not laid out a trap. Malaysia needs DSAI, the PKR, RPK and you brave bloggers now more than ever. Keep safe and thank you for keeping concerned Malaysians in the loop.

ReplyDeleteI’m sick of this bunch of snatchers, not only do there snatch our wealth, our safety, our smiles, our dignity, our happiness but also our basic right as a human beings.
Although I’m 6500 miles away from home, but my heart is back at home with all of you. I too, lights up my candle here in the UK.
Our Malaysia and we Malaysian deserve much much better than this piece of shit that we're having now.
Hi Zorro,
ReplyDeleteIf any form of civil disobediance or hartal is going to take place, I'm praying that it will be before 24th September. This is because I'm scheduled to leave for a 3 week overseas trip on that day. I do not want to miss out on the fun bro..
NO NO NO nasi kandar & teh tarik
ReplyDeleteat mamak stalls , ok !!
ISA = Internal Shameful Act !!
ReplyDeleteISA = Internal Stoopit Ass !!
ReplyDeleteISA = Insensible Stoopit Assult !!
ReplyDeleteAnother one..this courtsy of Bill Clinton..but slightly revised to fir our purpose.
ReplyDeleteUMNO by the application of the ISA displayed an example of its power. However, the people are awed by the power of PR's examples! ...well PR, fill this up with the power of your examples!!
Monster Mom....I am honored by this visit. But how did they do it in Bangladesh. Pray share.
ReplyDeleteAnon12:42. It is not fair to target all mamak stalls. These are honest malaysians eeking out a living, employing workers who need to put food on their tables for their families. Boycott the ones shose shareholder is the one who went berserk and tore up Tsu Khoon's foto. But be sure. (Two gas stations were boycotted but they did not belong to the racist Ahmad. Lets be doubly sure.)
He was irrational. He did not care about the consequence of his despicable act. it is sad that his workers will at Kayu will suffer.
Viveg: Hartal has to be precision-planned. The mechanics are on the planning stage. It has to be nationwide. If we have a new Malaysia, it won't happen. Some guys in KL have begun their personal campaign. One participant at the Bloghouse candlelight vigil public announced that he had taken out all his and his family's money out of CIMB. That is one person doing it. You get my drift. Things can happen before you leave. have a good trip. I will remember because it is Mrs Zorro's birthday.
Shank....thanks for coming along...every participant made a difference....were you able to sit down for a while. Was worried for you.
Old Fart....was an electric night YES? Have a good trip to NZ.
Anon7:09.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate your genuine concern for our safety at Kelana Jaya Stadium. We were prepared for any eventuality. But in any struggle, we must accept that some must be sacrificed, or what the military generals going to war ask: how many soldiers are expendable (how many can we sacrifice?)
The 20,000 plus Malaysians who went to the stadium were very aware of this....because they belong to the new breed of New malaysians. They were willing to "sacrifice" for the future. Praise the Lord nothing untoward happened...all thanks to people like you who shot up some silent prayers for the safety of the participants at the rally. Trust me, I witnessed, at age 68, the dawn of a new malaysia....and I sleep well tonight comforted by the fact that I witnessed it and was given the opportunity to be part of it.
Nice photos of Malaysia Day at Kelana Jaya.

From the Tao Te Ching:
ReplyDeleteWhen the government is too intrusive, people lose their spirit.
Act for the people’s benefit;
trust them, leave them alone.
When a hartal is called by the civil society movement, the evil BN government will probably think that the situation would pass with ineffective protest meetings and unheeded petitions. The BN government leaders will think that a little display of force; water Cannons, tear gas attacks and baton charges would suffice to break the backbone of the hartal. As such they will attack the people with batons, tear gas and sprayed with chemical laced water at the people participating in the hartal to disperse them. Will their tactics work? Not in the face of a determined group of people showing the act of non-destructive civil disobedience.
ReplyDeleteA perfect example of this mode of civil disobedience in Malaysia against the attacks of tear gas and water cannon will be the November 25th 2007 rally by Hindraf. Nearly 40,0000 protesters managed to bring the Kuala Lumpur city center to a standstill for nearly 6 hours from 6.00 am to 12.00 p.m. The people stood up to their tear gas attack and the cat and mouse street battle lasted until the organizers called off the rally.
Mind you, that is only 40,000 Malaysians who locked down KL city center for 6 hours. Imagine what 200,000 to 300,000 Malaysians with similar willpower and nerves can do if they converge in KL city with the main intent of breaking the backbone of the beast we call BN. Just by having a sit-in protest on the roads of KL will paralyze the entire city.
If the civil disobedience of 300,000 people is replicated in all the major towns like Ipoh, Penang, Sg. Petani, Kuantan, Seremban, JB etc, the resources of our police force will be stretched to its limit. They can no longer bring in reinforcements from others states to control the people as they did during the Bersih and Hindraf rally. By then, the people will outnumber the police rendering their fear tools impotent.
But there are obstacles to implement the above. How do we get the Malaysians to come out of their comfort zone and take some risks to save our nation. The luke warm response to Haris Ibrahim’s petition to the King seeking his intervention for judicial reform, is a clear example of how “Kiasu” Malaysians can be. So far only 26,598 people have signed it. This figure was only reached after a few postings from both RPK and Haris requesting for signatures. How then can we get all these people to come out all over the country?
In some countries, hartals were wildly successful because they were called by powerful unions. A perfect example will be the French truck drivers’ union strike which nearly crippled the French port operations, the country’s transportation network and commercial ventures. The Malaysian union bodies cannot be depended to even remotely ask their members to go against the government. They have become subservient to the BN, in fact many became the lapdogs for BN. In this perspective, the mode of hartal must be changed. Switching to an economic hartal of all government linked institutions and business entities will be a better option:
Action 1:
Boycott all banks linked to the government like Maybank, CIMB, Bank Simpanan Nasional etc. Take out all our money from these institutions. They depend on the money we deposit to maintain their cash flow and hence maintain their banking system. Immediate withdrawals of billions by all Malaysians will cause a financial meltdown.
Action 2:
Identify all shops belonging to the political leaders from BN parties and boycott them. PAS members have been doing this for many years against UMNO linked shops. After the March 08 election, UMNO organized a demonstration near KOMTAR with a lot of Indian Muslims shouting “Hidup Melayu”. The Penangites retaliated by boycotting Nasi Kandar. The owners of these restaurants had to plead with the people to not punish all of them for the actions of a few people.
The same can be applied to all business all over the country. We will hit them where it hurts, to bring them down to their knees; their wallets.
ISA = Insensible Stoopit Assault !
ReplyDeleteGOODBLESS the other 2, PLEASE, amen !
