THEY GOT BEATEN FIGHTING FOR RIGHT OF WAY; WE JUST WANT TO SAVE OUR LAKE.

HE TOOK THE BLOWS.....

HE WAS BROUGHT DOWN FOR STANDING TALL

BUT THEY DID IT THEIR WAY.
DESPITE.........

THE FOLLOWING TEXT IS PRODUCED COURTESY OF STOCKTUBE WITH THANKS.

(MINE IN BLUE ITALICS)

Of course the Grand Saga spokeman responsed in lighting speed that the company has nothing to do with those thugs or gangsters. Sure, and we’re suppose to believe those thugs have nothing better to do than to guard the concreate slabs not belonging to them? How come I smell something fishy with this Grand Saga’s executive director who happened to be the former Dang Wangi Police Chief?

I salute the people of Bandar Makotar Cheras for their perseverance and TENACITY...... innocent passerby Chang Jiun Haur, resident Chin Kee Chong and Utusan Malaysia's picman Roy Azis Abdul Aziz.

Malaysiakini reported:

"In a significant about-turn, Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar was at the scene at about 7.30pm to give the jubilant residents the green light to remove the wall.

The residents, with the help of tractors, eventually cleared the access road for motor vehicles to pass by 9.30pm.

The police, who had earlier been accused of siding with toll operator, kept a close watch on the operation. Khalid had also warned Grand Saga not to rebuild the wall."

Whilst one may think that this episode has seen a happy ending after blood has been spilt, it will be a good exercise to reflect on how money can corrupt any system....how vile the rich can become in the greedy pursuit of manna..

Can these people (below) sleep peacefully after what has been inflicted on the people of BMC?

Will the residents of condominium Puncak Nusa Kelana undergo any ordeal when we try to save our Lake?

We need to be prepared for any eventualities as Stocktube signed off by asking:

Don’t you feel insecure and confuse of what is happening in this country when the PM, the Deputy PM and all the Ministers are damn quiet about the brutality as if it never happened?

++++++++

On Saturday 1 June, at 10.00am the developer PUNCAK DANA will meet the residents on the proposed takeover of the Lake to make way for a MALL. Coincidently it will co-incide with our childrens drawing competition at 9.00am. The theme would be: Save Our Lake. Prizes, because it is an environment effort, has been generously donated by McDonalds.

  3. hey with pictures, can't the police do anything? Identifying them? At the very least haul them up for questioning? What about other photos of them beating the other people up?

  4. Dear Uncle Zorro - I am greatly distressed about this recent beating of the Mr Chang by so called FRU personnel. I don't know the full facts of the case, and like any story there are always two sides. But what I cannot understand is, let's say Mr Chang was wrong, and he did run over an FRU personnel, the other FRUS have no right to beat him up! There are rules to follow, they need to arrest Mr Chang and charge him. What they did was Law of the Jungle! That is the sorry state of Malaysian authorities today. Banana Republic.

If Mr Chang is in the clear, then I expect a huge lawsuit to follow..lets put up some good lawyers to sue the FRU.

    I can understand your distress.
There is this thing about the uniform units in this country. I officiated at a football tournament in the RRI in Sungai Buloh. It was army versus a club. A big fracas ensued and the game was abandoned to ensure safety of players. However an army player was injured. By 9pm two truckloads of army personnel in mufti entered the RRI complex to get even with some of the club side. Right or wrong, they will seek vengeance. That seems to be the way things are....my buddies right or wrong. Of course I do not subscribe to this. This is just to illustrate the mindset amongst the uniform units. For all you know the "hired" thugs were police personnel doing a service (paid or otherwise)to a former chief.Of course justice would be served if the "beaters" are identified and charged. I have my doubts though.Tks for visiting.

  9. The picture of the thugs must be posted in every blog so that the rakyat will see these "worse-than-animals". Could these thugs may be connected to the police?, as one may even suspect. And why only now suddenly the Selangor police decided "stop" the baricades and give warning to Grand Saga? Is it because of guilt after innocent people have been beaten, especially by the FRU, and that the situation will become potentially explosive.

  14. it's good to see so many bloggers spreading the news about police's brutality ...

without bloggers, government-controlled media would happily black-out another oppression ...

if we, the bloggers are monkeys and unemployed women, so be it ... at least we can put some pressures to authorities on such brutality while the "human" ministers are feeding the barbarians ...

    cheers all ...

  15. C'mon guys n' gals lets be less emotionally challenged and more logical and fair.

What we have here is a 4 cornered fight for survival be it financial, political or socio fairness based - i.e. Grand Saga, Developer, Politicians and beloved rakyat.

Now who conned who and who screwed who is the subject of intense speculation and emotional debate.

The current targets are Grand Saga versus Rakyat.

Let us not forget the other two missing bits of the equation. only then will you know the true story as to who screwed who leading to this mess.

Keep an open mind guys, emotion is good - only when tempered with good judgement.

Ciao and back to Laphroaig for me.
