It was reported that another National Service trainee Too Hui Ming, died whilst in the KKB's Geo Kosmo National Service Training Camp.
I blogged about DEATHS of trainees on 17 April here.
Haris Ibrahim also did a posting on the same subject on April 25 & 27 here.
YOU THINK THE AUTHORITIES ARE DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THESE ARE HAVE THEY GONE ON TO THE USUAL BLAME-GAME.
I SAY, SUSPEND THIS TRAVESTY. IT IS A JOKE IN BAD TASTE.
IF THE GOVERNMENT THINKS THAT OUR KIDS ARE EXPENDABLE, THEN I CHALLENGE THE PAKATAN RAKYAT MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT TO MAKE A CONCERTED ATTACK TO DISMANTLE THIS BLACK SPOT. DON'T WAIT FOR ANOTHER DEATH.
WHY SHOULD OUR CHILDREN GO TO CAMP TO DIE?
I AM MYSTERIOUSLY SURPRISED PARENTS ARE SO QUIET ABOUT THIS TRADEGY.
I AM MYSTERIOUSLY SURPRISED PARENTS ARE SO QUIET ABOUT THIS TRADEGY.
I will NOT allow my child to be a participant. Even if they throw us into jail.
ReplyDeleteYes Unc. Zorro, let's awaken everyone to this travesty

ReplyDeleteAccording to the Star, Too Hui Meng's parents have asked for an explanation, but I don't think one is forthcoming at the moment.
And I'm afraid this is not the only news from the NS camps. One of the camps have been completely quarantined due to a fever outbreak, and they have yet to determine the kind of fever it is, much less the cause of it.
nobody knew about this, although the camp was under quarantine for 4 days already, until one of the parents went to the camp to look for his son. And there are 10 of the trainees already hospitalised.
It's devastating to think that the parents of these children are in the dark about their child's health and safety conditions.
These people are treating the lives of these children like mosquitoes (no offense to mosquitoes..).
This National service trainee complained of an upset stomach after having chicken rice lunch in Geo Kosmo Camp, then passed away nine hours later. I believe something is not right with the food. My bf's brother is one of the trainee in Geo Kosmo Camp. He found a spring from spanner in his chicken rice (in the chicken to be precise)during lunch. He told the food caterer and they asked him to keep quiet and don't complain to the officers. Looking at what happened now, I should complain to the authorities.
ReplyDeletei have posted so many times, zorro, that it is unwise to continue this russain roulette program. each time, they send their kids there, they are testing their luck.
ReplyDeletegoodness, how many more has to die? please, lets snuff this program out befoe it snuffs another life.
shall we light one candle for each death as a reminder?
Parents are not quiet about this imbecilic program and the 17 deaths that resulted from it, they are numb with shock. After the last tragic death, there was much hue and cry but the powers that are made some soothing noises and then it was back to business as usual. What are parents to do? Can they sue the government authorities for negligence or other cause if their child suffers severe harm at NS camp? Can some legal minds advise?
ReplyDeleteLife is so cheap in Malaysia Bolehland.........please do something Uncle Bernard.
ReplyDeleteMy children are NOT EXPENDABLE. I will certainly not allow my children to go for ns training. To even have one death is unaccetable but with so many, it is amazing that this is still occurring.
ReplyDeleteThey will only act if one of the VIP in the govt's children dies. Nah. That wont happen cause they will not be there. All exempted.
ReplyDeleteI have lived 3 score and almost ten years. That should give me some sense of wisdom to see this whole thing about NS and in fact this whole Bolehland is slowly grinding to a disaster if something is not done soon. We the rakyat put in our views in the last GE and elected a strong opposition but they don't seem to be have any sense of direction in persuing the issues that are cropping up daily. The non-MSM media has raised so many issues but our PR YBs don't seem to be able to be united to do anything constructive. Please do something SOON. I don't thing the rakyat can wait around for too long. Do we have to go to the streets and show our Makkal Sakthi!
ReplyDeleteno wonder we have dodgers. they're afraid of, well...death!
ReplyDeleteIs there any way to find out how many children from the level of MP's to the cabinet has done a NS stint? Heck, let's throw in all BN component parties state division people's children as well, any ONE of them have been for a NS stint?
ReplyDeletewhat is Lee LAM PAr doing? he is awfully quiet? Will he relinquish his post?
ReplyDeletel've never heard of a single off-spring of a minister attending this heaven-forbiden programme. Why didn't they just suspend or better still, cancel the whole show? Simple! There are lots of money to be made, and it gives the powerful people in it, something to crow about, Malaysia Boleh? Why are the PR MPs not moving a motion to discuss this in Parliament? Hei Pakatan Rakyat , you do disaapoint me, you really do, big time! This matter is of public interest, of an urgent basis so it should be debated in Parliament. We don't need "big-foot" and "big monkey" side shows! We need you to do your duty to the people, to the country. Is that too tough?
ReplyDeleteartchan,
ReplyDeletehe will not relinguish until we fight to our last drop of energy.
zorro, i am thinking of ligthing a candle for each for each of the death in NS. onyl thing is that can someone tell me the right spot to place the cadle.
my eldest is 12 years but 6 years aint too far awy. meantime, i pray none of my fellow young helathy malaysians drop dead from NS but I know its a prayer in vain. and i know I cannot sit and bitch and not do something about it.
zorro, haris, are we on?

The NS has to stop NOW. No more dead kids please.
luckily my daughter was not selected for ns. no wonder many of my friends visit their children every week!!! TQ Uncle Bernard
ReplyDeletesince cabinet ministers dont send their children to ns, maybe they should go themselves and we will see whether any of them perish inside the camp
ReplyDeleteHi Zorro,
ReplyDeleteyeh since our minister do not send their children to ns, so no effect and even that "Tan Si Lee Lam Par" I think he is (just no discription)a Chui Kong Lam Par Song and having good life now so why rock the boat, does he even recall back when he first step into serving rakyat, driving a Mazda 323 now forget liao.
Btw if I do not allow my kids to NS what will be the consequences, pls enlighten me,(hope someone help) worried man,

People, READ this from NST Online.
ReplyDeleteBatu Gajah MP Fong Po Kuan is putting in a notice for an emergency motion for the Parliament to debate the death of 18-year-old NS trainee Too Hui Min next week.
She said one death among National Service trainees is too many.
THEY HAVE HEARD US...CONTINUE THE PRESSURE.
