NO THE MEDIA CANNOT WALK, SAYS THE POLICE.
UPDATE at 3.45 p.m. 30 May 2008: After discussions with the police, organisers have advised that the gathering at Dataran Merdeka to walk to the NPC is OFF. Members of the public are advised to proceed straight to the NPC instead.
Now journalists walking is deemed detrimental to security of the country......or is it because bloggers are involved. We wanted to sing the Negara Ku under the flag-pole at Dataran Merdeka before the walk. I was looking forward to walk with my journo friends, present and retired. Well, we are obedient citizens adhering to advice for our safety. So be it.
strange, I thought you people have the Law Minister among you ?
ReplyDeleteso be it ! I think to solve this problem just go underground. Its more effective. a kind of revolt. enough of wishing hoping praying to the Devil. Who knows what kind of traitors walk in our midst ?
its time you Zorro Sir turn on your fighting mode for once! No more screaming and walking !
Now it's feet cannot in public walk
ReplyDeleteNext it's mouth cannot in private talk
Yet there's boast to "walk the talk"
When in reality it's "talk the walk"

ReplyDeleteSniping is more FUN than going underground. You need to surface when underground. Periphery is ideal where you can see your intended in the cross-hair. Sabe amigo?
However I like the word underground...kinda romantic. NO?
alamak so its 9 plus or 10 plus at NPC? have to come early nanti no place to park!
ReplyDeleteWalkers, walk. Talkers (sic), talk.
ReplyDeleteAnd bloggers put everything together in a neat little package.
